We hear this question all the time at Volunteer East Tennessee: How does someone find the right nonprofit to support, and now, during a pandemic?
There are thousands of nonprofits in Knox County, and most of them depend on volunteers to help deliver services to our community. In a “normal” year, we can easily connect individuals, companies, families, and civic groups to service opportunities.
But 2020 wasn’t a normal year for volunteering, and the outlook is much the same for 2021.
