The Tampa Bay Times production facility is located at 1301 34th St. in St. Petersburg. The 350,000-square-foot complex on 27 acres will be sold after operating for 61 years. The company has signed a three-year agreement with Gannett to print the newspaper in Lakeland. [ SCOTT KEELER | Times ]

The land hit the market quietly last summer: a 39-acre parcel off busy Gandy Boulevard in Tampa, on which stood a Macy’s warehouse and furniture gallery. Even with minimal marketing, it didn’t take long to draw attention.
