Indianapolis events in 2021: List of conferences scheduled for Indy

As vaccinations drive down COVID-19 rates, the convention industry is starting to return to Indianapolis. The Sweets & Snacks Expo, a major candy tradeshow, kicked off the return of the industry. The city will see a number of popular shows return this year. 
While attendance may be lower than in previous years, the trade show and events industry is expected to scale up to its pre-pandemic levels by next year. 
Here are eight major events scheduled for 2021 in Indianapolis. 
Gen Con
A popular gaming convention, Gen Con
 offers ideas and products in board games, card games, role-playing games, video games and strategy games. The event draws gaming fans from across the country in elaborate costumes.
