The Napa County Sheriffs Office tweeted pg e has announced plans to begin power shutoffs in napa county beginning early wednesday morning that may extend five days or longer. Napa county Officials Say about 30,000 residents could be impacted. The latest wildfire warnings include areas still rebuilding from the deadly tubs fire that ignited two years ago today. The fire killed 22 people and burned for almost a month in napa and sonoma counties. One man whose home survived, some of his neighbors and friends, though, were not as lucky. It takes shutting it down, then im all for it. What im not for is what happened two years ago. Nobody is. The tubbs fire is the second most destructive wildfire in state history. Cal fire investigators say the wildfire was started by a private electrical system not pg e. And this would not be the first time pg e has proactively shut off power. 60,000 people were affected in napa as well as the sierra foothil foothills.
