Good news for them because we have the fog coming back. But how about a 45 degree increase from your morning temperature of 53 in fairfield . Youll be up back into the upper 90s. So with the calm wind and that radiational cooling, we have certainly have some cooler temperatures this morning. It was 85 yesterday, a Half Moon Bay, the fog nowhere to be seen right now. Redwood city was 95. Hayward was 96. We saw low 90s in oakland and how about 97 . In santa cruz right now, 66. San leandro, it is 62. In Oakland Union city in fremont in the low 60s. So another mild night. But we have cooled off considering, ali, from yesterdays widespread 90s. It is 53 in napa with upper 60s the warm spot. San francisco, the golden gate bridge. Were not going to see widespread rain, but it is a level one on our storm impact scale. Theres the fog offshore. Itll take several hours in fact, the entire day to see it move back in. So we have another warm day on the way. Hot temperatures return inland, 6 00 tonight. The low clouds and fog right along the coast. They push inland overnight, allowing for some patchy fog for your sunday morning. But then by the afternoon, its sunny, much cooler, still above average, but today, certainly the pick day, if you like it, warm to hot out there for your sunday. Still a few temperatures right around 90 inland but were looking at those 60s and 70s across the bay. So dramatic cool down the onshore flow with us into monday. Look at the clouds then we have rain that will be moving in later on monday. High temperatures well below average. Heres your tuesday, a little bit milder as we get behind another system. But as we get into middle of the week, things get back to average. Theres the cold front. Monday, another one heading to the north on tuesday. And so at this point, early rainfall estimates anywhere from about 2 10 up in santa rosa to a couple hundredths over along the bay shore blue angels today. But beautiful out there. Upper 80s and then looking at about 70, much cooler with some fog perhaps to contend with for sunday 88 in oakland today 98. In livermore with 95 santa rosa the accuweather seven day forecast today the hottest day much cooler tomorrow. Level one system on monday. Tuesday still cool and gray feeling like fall and then looking at that warming trend by the end of the week so that would be average. So we dont remember what average is over here. It changes so much. Yeah. But lisa, i was looking at the schedule for fleet week and some events actually start at 10 a. M. I know the big ones are about 12 and 3 p. M. Is that when were going to really see the heat today . Yeah, more like 2 or 3 00 for sure. The hottest day. And it has been sort of accumulating on us. So sea breeze late in the day, too. The beaches probably will be very busy again today because were expecting another warm day here in the bay area. Well get a check of your forecast with lisa coming up in just a little bit. Somebody there just was getting an Early Morning walk. Well, in sports, the warriors begin their 2024 campaign tonight against the lakers as the dubs take on the purple and gold at home inside chase center tip off is at 530 on the gridiron and a longtime rivalry is reignited this weekend. The 49 ers are gearing up for a battle tomorrow at levis stadium against the dallas cowboys. Abcs seven sports director larry beale has a look at the matchup in your morning sports. Good morning, everybody. The 49 ers championship window was open right now and they will add to the roster to try to get closer to the super bowl and they just traded for Randy Gregory who played four seasons for dallas had some marijuana related suspensions that kept him off the field for a while. But all that stuff was years ago. He signed a massive deal last season with denver. They decided he just wasnt a good fit. The niners swooped in. They offered a sixth round pick in return for gregory and a seventh rounder coming back from denver broncos. Were just going to cut him out right. And the broncos are paying him 10 million to leave the 49 ers just paying him the veterans minimum. Gregory will not play against dallas on sunday night at levis, but Christian Mccaffrey is going to be looking to add to his streak of 13 straight games with a touchdown that happens to be a niners franchise record. The 49 ers have knocked dallas out of the playoffs two years in a row. But mccaffrey says past results probably wont mean much on sunday. Anytime you look at a game from the years past, you know, maybe itll be similar, maybe it wont be. But i try not to go into games predicting anything, you know, you just you have your tracks, you have your reads, you know where to put your eyes, you know, your assignment. And then after that, its, you know, you just got to react and play extremely instinctually and go from there. On two hoops, the warriors open the preseason tonight at home against the lakers. Its going to be our first look at chris paul as a warrior. Its going to take some getting used to. I know. But one of the biggest beneficiaries of pauls arrival might be jonathan kuminga. Jc ellerbe threat that might remind cp3 of his old clipper days with blake griffin. I mean, jake, i mean, first of all, he turned 21 a day and he he just plays with like a joy. You can tell how much he loves the game with our team, we just always talk about appreciating each other. Sure he appreciates playing with all these great players and they appreciate him. I talked with legendary sportscaster al michaels a couple of weeks ago. Hes making headlines now because of his diet, which includes zero vegetables. The 78 year old says his parents were teenagers when he was born. They let him eat or actually not eat whatever he wanted. Im thinking of one of the more nonobjection able vegetables, a carrot. Oh, please, please. A carrot. No, no. Thats an objectionable vegetable. I mean, i would really. I mean, how would you know . Youve never tasted it. I look at it, i just dont even like the look of it. Al can tell an objectionable vegetable when he sees one. That is tremendous. Thats all right. Thats a wrap on morning sports. Have a great weekend, everybody. Im larry beil. Objectionable vegetable. Okay. Very interesting. Thanks, larry. Ryan curry, abc seven news. Well we have been tracking a heat advisory today. Meteorologist lisa argen has an update on that. So lisa, how hot is it going to get . Well, were going to see upper 90s again inland. Itll be slightly cooler at the coast. Average highs low 70s in San Francisco to about 80in santa rosa. So for the past four days, we have seen temperatures obviously well above average and the hottest day at the beach was friday. We saw 90 one Half Moon Bay. The fog is offshore, but it will be coming back overnight tonight. Heres a nice look from our sutro tower camera where it is 69 in San Francisco, 62 in oakland, 64 in Mountain View, 66. San jose, palo alto. How about 57 there . 54 Half Moon Bay. Calm, winds radiational cooling allowing for a bigger cooldown for some santa cruz 64 right now is 97. Yesterday 88 today. So youll be feeling the switch from the offshore to the onshore flow late in the day today. 53 santa rosa, napa and fairfield with 54in novato 65. Concord 60 in livermore, mt. Tam. Yes, all that sun again today. So the heat hanging on for another day and the fog will be back overnight to bring us relief into sunday and then even cooler on monday with clouds and a cold front passing through the bay area later on. So a look at our beaches today in case you want to check it out. How about 80 at stinson ocean beach, 75 bodega bay with upper 70s Half Moon Bay pacifica and that 87 in santa cruz with 85 it was in the 90s yesterday in monterey into sunday youll notice 60s and 70s returning to the bay shore near 80 though in fremont. So still a little bit warmer than average but compared to today a big cooldown. Look what happens monday. Rain offshore air only in the mid and upper 60s as a cold front pushes through the bay area late in the day tuesday , leftover clouds, maybe a few leftover showers and then we begin to recover temperature wise by the end of the week. There is the first cold front, another system following quickly behind it, heading to the north of us for tuesday. But this forecast model through monday night wants to bring about 2 10, maybe more up into the north bay into monday night, a couple hundredths, as you file if you move closer towards the coast down into San Francisco, inland, maybe just a few hundredths, probably nothing at all in the santa clara valley. So we do have a big change coming. So enjoy the warmth today if you like that upper 80s for a fantastic viewing today for the blue angels. Some fog tomorrow with a high of 73. So we go from the upper 80s to about 70 today. 86 downtown 88 in oakland. So late in the day. If youre headed to the coast, you probably will feel that sea breeze 79 in Half Moon Bay with those mid 90s in san jose today upper 90s by the delta. So looking very warm in the accuweather seven day forecast today. The hottest day by far and then cooler with some fog for your sunday level one system on monday. A few raindrops possible and then tuesday could see some leftover showers. Wednesday well see a milder day with some warming into thursday and friday.
