Kia surprised many when it announced a flagship variant of the all-electric EV6 dubbed the GT that’s delivering performance more akin to a supercar. It has since confirmed that it will build other EVs with the GT designation and a similar performance philosophy.
Thanks to a pair of powerful electric motors and a 77.4 kWh battery pack, the Kia EV6 GT pumps out no less than 577 hp and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque, allowing it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds, which is quicker than the Porsche Taycan 4S. The EV6 GT tops out at 162 mph (260 km/h) and can travel 252 miles (405 km) on a single charge.
