BH series car number plate is your choice? Court has just quashed some conditions

The Bombay High Court has invalidated a directive from Maharashtra's transport commissioner that imposed specific conditions for vehicle registration under the BH series. Justices Girish Kulkarni and Firdosh Pooniwalla deemed the circular unauthorised and therefore unlawful on April 12. The circular's issuance lacked proper authority, as per the court. The case stemmed from a civil judge's petition challenging the circular and the rejection of his vehicle registration application under the BH series.
