Contained and were moving in the right direction there. That we have jump started a process to solve the civil war in syria which is like an open sore in the region. And is giving refuge to terrorist organizations who are taking advantage of that chaos. To make sure that in iraq not only have we pushed back isil but weve also created an environment in which sunni, shia and kurd are starting to function more effectively together. And to be in conversation with all of those in the region so they feel they can address any potential threats that may come including threats from iran. And that includes assurances and cooperation to israel building on the unprecedented cooperation that is put in place. It includes the work weve done with the gcc up at camp david making sure we execute that. If wed done those things then the problems in the middle east will not be solved. And ultimately its not the job of the president of the United States to solve every problem in the middle east. The people of the middle east are going to have to solve some of these problems themselves. But i think we can provide that next president at least a foundation for continued progress in these various areas. The last thing i would say, and this is a longer term issue, is we have to address the youth in the region with opportunity and a better vision for the future. So they are not tempted by the nihilistic violent dead end that organizations like isil offer. Again, we cant do that entirely by ourselves, but we can partner with well intention eded organizations, states ngos religious leaders in the region. We have to do a better job of that than weve been doing so far. All right. Well now pause for just a moment while some stati and weve been listening into the president answering questions about the Iran Nuclear Deal and certainly trying to win folks over in what will be a Long Campaign of persuasion. Well be continuing to cover there in the newscast itself. Were monitoring the president s comments, as he continues to talk. In the meantime lets talk about what we do know so far. President obama trying to explain to the American Public why the iran deal is good for america and the world. He says this deal does not solve all our problems with iran but it does deal with the major issue keeping Nuclear Weapons out of the country. Six world powers reached this Historic Deal yesterday. It aims to limit nuclear capability, in exchange for lifting punishing economic sanctions many includes the president , still dont feel iran can be trusted. The deal continues to face Harsh Criticism in congress and really in other nations around the world as well but for the first time we are now hearing reaction from the people of iran itselves. Nbc bay areass alia ruzi has more more. Is it looked more like the rio carnival. They were flashing victory signs, waving the flag with pride and we are happy about the fact they may be coming in from the cold. Im really happy about it you know we were waiting for that for about ten years. In the spontaneous celebration, there was no death to america or anybody else. There was just love for the whole World Community, wanting to become friends again. People were even shouting obama, we love you. No doubt the man of the hour was Prime Minister rueouhani. People were thanking him. Now in iran people are still waiting for things to change, but this could be the beginning of a new stage for iran with the World Community and possibly with america. Today president rouhani said the deal will be completed and iran will not be viewed as a threat throughout the world anymore. Thats music to the ears of the iranian people. Thats exactly why the people voted for president rohanuhanirouhani. Nbc news tehran. Thank you. Lets talk about what is happening locally. It gives the stock room to grow again, more people can afford to buy at that lower price. I cant not talk about greece. The parliament votes today whether to accept the european bailout. This is just one category away from being one of the most powerful hurricanes we would see across this part of the continent. It will weaken but its not going to lose a lot of its moisture. By send it will be just a couple hundred miles south of los angeles. That brings me to this. As we move towards sunday night into monday there is a possibility we cant get some of this action as the moisture streams up here because of High Pressure in the four corners region, that would give us a good chance of thunderstorms and moisture here. The better chance noted by the orange and reds down palm springs, san diego, phoenix they may get a better dote of rain but any shower activity this time of year is welcome news.
