So we still have this weather set up with this slow moving area of low pressure across the pacific northwest, and a pretty decent ocean breeze, as we go into the weekend, we start to see that area of low pressure kind of retreating to the north a little bit, and High Pressure nudging in. So thats going to give us a slight boost in our temperatures not only for the weekend but continuing into early next week, but these numbers are right where we should be for the start of july, reaching into the lower 80s for the inland valleys, and no big spike in our temperatures, headed even into the end of next week. For San Francisco staying cool rv, at times the clouds and the fog moving into the city and more sunshine as temperatures come up a couple of degrees next tuesday and wednesday. New details are emerging about a shark attack in the bahamas that killed a Southern California woman. 21yearold jordan lindsey died wednesday after a tiger shark atag while she was snorkeling. Pleasant hill police are saying the man who drove his pickup into the sweet tomatoes restaurant had been drinking and driving. Law enforcement was able to get him safely out of the vehicle. They checked to make sure he wasnt hurt and then they administered a field sobriety test, which they say he failed. The man who is 23 years old and from fresno was arrested on suspicion of dui. The collision as you come back out here live destroyed the front windows and front doors, no, one set of front windows here and the facade but they are finghat right now and we did speak with the restaurant. The senate began very early this morning, holding an unusually early vote on requiring the president to get congressional approval for strikes against iran and if he doesnt seek that approval, they will withhold money. Theyre holding this vote open today for a very long time, so senators attending the democratic debate last night can come and vote on this today. As you mentioned, the house now has approved a 4. 6 billion aid package to ease the suffering at the southern border. It didnt come easy. That vote did not come easy. The house was forced to take up the senate bill which democrats in the house did not want to do but time was running out and they had to vote on what they had. Heres House Speaker nancy pelosi. At the end of the day we have to make sure the resources needed to protect the children are available House Speaker pelosi forced the 4. 6 billion plan now on its way to President Trump for his signature. Progressives were outraged they had to vote on that, but still passed by about 305 votes. On the senate vote taking place today, expect to hear more from that, probably in about three or four hours, as i mentioned that vote being held open for senators returning from last nights debate. Mackenzie louek disappeared 11 days ago. Police have identified a person of interest in the case but still no sign of louek. Again, overnight officers searched that mans home, this one right here. They are also searching for a mattress that was given away. Police chief says the investigation is complex. A lot of this investigation focuses on a Digital Forensic footprint. We would like to know who she was communicating with in the last few days, up to and including that night, when she disappeared. Neighbors also tell nbc news that a foul smell and smoke recently came from the property. Its bringing us that onshore wind flow, but thats going to start to ease up, move a little bit farther to the north over the next few days, a High Pressure nudging in thats going to change our wind direction just slightly, and so our temperatures will be coming up a few more degrees, not only for the weekend but going into the july 4th, fourth of july holiday so were going to see our high temperatures coming up a few more degrees, but other than that, nothing major happening here. Looks pretty nice throughout the next seven days, at times some clouds moving by, and checking out San Francisco, fog near the coast and highs staying in the 60s.
