That allows people to report illegal fireworks directly to police for the computer or from the smartphone. Last year the city received more than a thousand online reports of illegal fireworks activity. Only four citations, though, were handed out. New at 11 00, in an attempt to get some of those fireworks off the streets, east contra costa fire held its first fireworks takeback event over the weekend. It turned out to be pretty successful. You see all of the firework theres on the table. People were able to drop off firework, no questions asked. Firefighters collected 25 pounds of fireworks, including illegal ones. Some of the earliest symptoms of necrotizing fascitis would be an area of redness or swelling that is spreading rapidly. An area that is severely painful or associated with fever. But looking towards the middle of the week, were going get a breezy start, and thats because were going get a High Pressure system thats going to start to dominate. Once that High Pressure rolls on in, whats going happen is were going to start drying out, and thats right around the time of the fourth of july forecast. Coasts will be from the 60s to the 70s. Of course, were going monitor for any potential fog on the fourth of july in San Francisco, for all those folks heading out to the fireworks show. For the valleys, 80s to near 90s. Thats going to be the beginning of a warming trend that will set us up for a warmer weekend ahead. A scammer posted this bogus job opening using bobs name and photo, claiming he was hiring a Virtual Assistant. It looks legit. Reporter tamika smith in houston, texas took the bait and the Virtual Assistant job. But first, she searched bob redell online. He is a knew forecaster. Reporter he funneled about 12,000 and directed her to withdraw cash and feed the bills into this atm that converts cash into bitcoin. What did he say the money was for . He said he needed to pay some bills and buy some supplies. And they only accepted bt form of payment, once the money went into the atm, it vanished. So what was actually going on here . We figured it out. The scammer hacked a bank account in detroit. Thats where the money he sent to tamika came from. He had transferred money from there to tamika in texas. She had been hired already, as a mule. Tamika discovered that when her bank flagged the transfers and put her on notice. This is a scam. Were freezing your accounts. Indefinitely, and i was like wait a minute, what do you mean . This is not a scam. I am doing a job here. Reporter the bank recalled the transfers to return the money to its rightful owners in detroit. But remember, the cash was already gone. Tamika had already converted to it bitcoin and transferred it to the scammer, which means tamika is on the hook for the 12 grand. A whole lot of money they dont have to pay. Reporter we asked the banks and the atm operator if there was anything they could do to help tamika. They said no. She is now asking the public for help on gofundme. She is also asking you to be skeptical when anyone online wants to hire you. Meet them in person, you know. Make sure that they show you their id too. Because you can tell them a youre bob redell.
