Another change this year, that giant balloon inflation event held the big crowds here, thats canceled. But they are not letting all the air out of the parade fun. Macys says performances will still happen with participants socially distanced and there will be masked. But the high schools and colleges previously selected will be replaced with professional acts. The balloon handlers also done this year. They will be using specially rigged vehicles tested and approved by the city and nypd to carry the balloons. Part of the magic of the parade is all the people it brings together from all walks of life, all the diversity of everyone who goes to see it. It is the one day our entire country celebrates together, our entire city celebrates together. Reporter while most of usju it is a chance to look out your window and see one of those big balloons outside while they are taping one of those surprise segments for this years parade.
