Lets bring you outside to our Sky Camera Network right now, and you can see were mostly clear and that helps those temperatures to drop. If we were to have cloud cover in place that usually acts as a blanket and temperatures cant drop as fast. But with no clouds were able to see any heating from the daytime escape and those numbers fall down. We have the coldest air in the north bay. Thats where our freeze warning is, widespread 30s, even a chance of a few spotty 20s. As you move through tomorrow sunshine stays, cool daytime highs and ahead this week, were look at more rain and even some sierra snow, so great to see that. As you move through tomorrow morning lets get a look at the cold. Down to 38 for the south bay, mostly clear. Trivalsy at 36. Those 30s will continue as well for the east bay and also for the north bay. You can see i have it down to an average of 37 for the east bay. North bay at 32. Not quite as cold in San Francisco. And we usually dont see it into the 30s too much there because the ocean helps to retain some heat. So being so close to the pacific right up there are the coastline of San Francisco the heat from the ocean, again, keeping those numbers from dropping too cold in the morning hours. Now, as you move through tomorrow were going to see cool daytime highs, about average here. 59 in san jose and numbers dont really change a whole lot from our microclimate. Low 60s from danville to oakland and more of the same for the peninsula. 60 in palo alto. For San Francisco 59 down town. And sonoma 61 and santa rosa 59. Tomorrow looks really beautiful if you can get over the cold morning. What about rainfall chances . This is good news i know for a lot of us here as we move through 8 00 p. M. On thursday. We get some rainfall developing off to the north. The problem with this is that northerly trajectory having a hard time pick up the moisture from the pacific. Yes, well see some spotty chances thursday night and also onto friday and even another chance i think of maybe some of the best possible widespread rain once we hit saturday morning. Now, this will also bring us some sierra snow. We could see another foot, 14 inches even. Kirkwood, snow level right around 5,000 feet. Blue canyon with 2 inches. My extended forecast this is what ive done here. Chance of spotty showers thursday and friday and into saturday. And notice as well by next monday therell be an additional rain chance. So really looks good for us to stay in this cooler and wetter weather pattern not only for this week but potentially even into the following week, and this is exactly what we need.
