The north bay mountains, east bay hills and diablo range, under that red flag warning until 5 00 p. M. Today. Just checking wind gusts in the Higher Elevations. About 40 to 60mile an hour wind gusts for the north bay mountains and right over the diablo range. We are looking at very low relative humidity values. Starting off current relative down to 12 in napa. Looking at 11 in livermore, 21 in fairfield. As we go through our day we will see that sunshine, temperatures will be above average for this time of year. Looking at 73 in San Francisco, 76 oakland, 79 san jose and 80 for conford. From five to 8 degrees above average. We will see the winds east as we head through the day. Itll still be very dry out there with relative humidity values down to the Single Digits and teens. As we hit the roadways this morning there are wind advisories in effect for the bridge and the antioch bridge. No delays across the span but you may deal with gusty conditions there as you work through antioch, heading onto highway 4 along 680 there. Other than that we have some brake lights due to road work. Southbound 880 near 29th. The usual stuff there as you have construction blocking at least a couple of lanes. They should have that wrapped up by six. Im tracking brake lights on that eastbound side of the dunbarton bridge. A few slow and go conditions. Likely due to road work and i will watch that. In the meantime if you are going out of the peninsula toward the east bay you may try the san mateo bridge. Live news desk. We just got the new video of an incident going on in the south bay thats still under investigation. It looks like chp officers were pursuing a vehicle along highway 17 when it crashed at the off ramp of lark avenue along the northbound side. The driver was seen being treated at the scene, eventually taken to the hospital. Officers spent the morning combing the area for evidence. This happened several hours ago. There was a traffic poll that was hit and fence of a nearby apartment complex was hit. We are trying to find more information about that. Homicide in oakland under investigation in the area of 89th and mcarthur. We dont know a lot about what happened. It looked like at least one person was killed. This person found in a vehicle along mcarthur avenue there. Detectives had several blocks blocked off at that point. There may have been more than one victim. A lot of questions on exactly what happened in oakland. We reached out to police and trying it find out more about what happened. Back to you. Fire danger on the minds of many in the bay area.
