Slight chance of a shower but i think for the most part our biggest impact will be the colder temperatures of course we could use the rain for shower. As we look to the afternoon the mild temperatures and the mid 70s for cooling down to around 65 in San Francisco. Low 70s for the east bay. 72 san leandro. For the north bay in the 70s. This afternoon. That extended forecast. That dramatic drop in temperatures on friday in the 50s and 60 ha for the daytime highs. About 15 degrees cooler. The president has made an appearance on fox news this morning and tweeted a video of hills dancing at one of his recent rallies. We will watch both candidates where abouts throughout the rest of the day. Emily. Here in oakland where there are only five minutes until the polls open and these folks waiting in line. One of them to vote and the other one for a flu shot because its two for one here. You can get that flu shot. Thats only today. Thats from 6 30 this morning. They started the flu shots until 7 30 tonight. It is drive through or walk up. No appointment needed. They are free to the public. Health Officials Say getting your flu shot is an easy way to stay safe into that winter 60s and out of election season. Staying well also mean that you need to be safe in your voting and after voting activities. Wear a mask, stay six feet apart, in lines in the polls, use Hand Sanitizer. You can bring a ball point pen or stylus. The predogses need to stretch into what happens after the election. There are fears of civil unrest and the Health Department said dont forget we are still in a pandemic. The same rule as apply. The south bay seeing record voter turn out into election day. 617,000 ballots have already been cast and at least count more than a million have registered to vote. Also a new county record. Election officials are estimating an 85 to 90 voter turn out. The warriors have a number of facilities for voting in alameda. You can stop by the warriors oakland facility on broadway. If you are down in santa cruz the kaiser arena on front street is also available. Businesses around San Francisco are pea pairing to election day by boarding up. Police say there are no threats but at the civic center polling station security is beefed up just in case. San consider loss police are searching for a suspect who robbed a 34yearold victim at gun point overnight. It happened on laurel street. The suspect is described as a 40yearold male. Approximately 511 in height with a black cap. Authorities say that matt van was responding to a highrise fire on spear street yesterday when a hose line caused him to fall and hit his head. Its not clear what happened. As we look at the roadways now. Bay bridge stacked up. Metering lights are on and its a slow ride as you work westbound out of the east bay in to the city. A few brake lights across the upper deck as you work across the bay bridge toll plaza. Westbound 980. We have a lane blocked there due to a crash. Traffic is slow and go in that area. Still tracking a few brake lights. Southbound as you work into union city. Westbound 580. Also seeing some delays. With that will show you down. Now a 48 minute drive time for that commute along580. Temperatures this morning down to the 40s and 50s as be start off our day. As we head through the afternoon we will catch that clearing for most of us.
