She wants you to keep your distance just avoid someone whos not wearing the mask, let police and let the city handle the enforcement but please where mass is what theyre asking really when you leave your home and all you got to take it with you all right, thanks sarah. You can see the overcast skies and we can also tell tell how the weather has changed because dave spahr has put his sweater back on. Lets check out the forecast today friday. Yes, thats right you get to. Got a key all of that warmer strange word to be using it after all of this hot weather that weve had call the fog boy hes been aggressive going on this morning. And you can see the shot that morning was showing you earlier there. The fault logs of the club the fog clouds i like to call him still in place we see the same shot from u c berkeley boy they just dont want to give up even at 7. 15 hour, were still dealing with this swing of things around to the golden gate and the 2 towers are completely obstructed by that the fog were probably going to see the scenario linger a little bit later on we did from yesterday and the coast it may never clear even at all today in terms kind of having that overcast appearance that were going to have so heres what it says and future cast for lets take this all the way out to around the noon hour or so there you have it although most of the bay area will clear you can see the coast. Its still kind of lingers with that again overcast pasty white skies at best. Most that the temperatures across the district are in the 50s 62 antioch and 64 oakland 60 also redwood city are the exceptions with all that. Now marching for with future cast for you know variable clouds on balance today here comes that rain shot late tonight early tomorrow. It gets somewhat interesting when it marches from our south to the north. Coming across kind of parallel to the bay area and points to the north that really gets interesting and we may get some strikes a lightning that are before the rain hits and thats a little bit concerned that dry lightning effect here. Thats a possibility and we may have some a Thunder Showers with all of this when the rate actually does arrive. Again the concentration of the heavier rain appears to be in the north bay and up to Northern California country compared to elsewhere across the bay. Its trying to clear out a little bit but another surge of cloud cover coming in here for sunday, although most of the rain will be done by that point checking out the winds. An uptick on winds even though were not seeing the daytime heating today like we did yesterday. Actually getting kind of intense and some of the valleys late tonight. Early tomorrow morning by saturday night seeing another uptick on winds and then somewhat calm for saturday overnight. So what we have is variable clouds today much colder again, those fog clouds not clearing showers late tonight. This weekend, its rain showers and thunder shower. Then officers on patrol spotted a person matching the suspects description at the glen park bart station and they arrested 53 yearold peter roche a glen park resident, Sean Sullivan says that she also had a runin with roche a while she was out walking. Right up to me and said. The park is for people not dogs. You look like you need to be done. Im going to give it to you it really dont think the city should have waited until somebody got hurt. So many warning signs. Well sean was told multiple times and nothing could be done about roche unless he heard someone. Well now that hes in jail. Shes hoping that city officials will start taking responsibility and take action on these preventable case us. Well to the east by now a group of parents in the San Ramon Valley unified School District are angry after news of School Administrators getting a little more than a 2 bump in salary. The District Board of education approved the increase is to say the raises went into effect a few weeks ago and a retroactive to last july a 108 district administrators and confidential employees, including the retiring, so the superintendent are also receiving this a raise more president greg marvel tells kron 4 the cost is approximately 462,000 and that the raises reflect the districts philosophy of equal treatment for all employees parents feel differently. I dont think were comparing apples to apples so that clash and be in there where someone is in a management type of role and then someone is teaching our children and the equivalent salaries, its not the same so i dont feel like it to be applied across the board. The School District says it is faced with an million budget shortfall for the next fiscal year. The management raises in question were already factored into the budget and the shortfall. The 6 months they will be fully staffed it will be supervised 24 hours a day. Theres a lawsuit saying it should not be years saying its unfair to the neighborhood that its going to be perhaps dangerous to that kids theres a high school nearby and it will dramatically impact businesses that already taking a beating because of coronavirus and now you put this homeless encampment in the area. They will suffer even bigger losses because of it theyre also blaming, San Francisco mayor london breed and its called the citizens safer hate area. While they are blaming San Francisco mayor london breed because they claim that she has not done enough to get her hands on hotel rooms that shes known about the pandemic obviously for the last several months that it was her job to get hotel rooms to bring the homeless to there so they can practice social distance, so they can watch them for coronavirus but because she has not been able to get as many hotel rooms as she or they would like. Forcing the city to have this homeless encampment and what you see how it plays out make the city says that they will monitor the situation that they are trying to make sure to keep an eye on coronavirus on the Homeless Population which is particularly vulnerable to covid19. But a highly controversial issue and of course, the irony is not lost on a lot of people that the haightashbury district once decades ago used to be very receptive to the same people that this lawsuit wants to keep out back to you. It will covid19 has changed the attitudes of so many people now thanks a lot for that live report from the hate robin. Ok some scattered clouds on tap today, cooler temperatures weve been talking about then later tonight you can see some rain starting now we might get some claps of thunder going on relatively quote early before the real rain gets here. Here comes the deeper moisture. And does it come alive, youre right across the bay area just by word on or shortly thereafter word and then in the Early Morning hours there you see the spotty pulsating rain in the north bay, mostly a little bit out of the Santa Cruz Mountains too. And then by the afternoon that will start to break up a little bit. Tomorrow or sunday rather well kind of variable clouds on balance they have little stray shower late on sunday night potentially. Now lets take a look at what we get quantitatively from all of this not as much as you think ok for most of the wider begun may pick up a dime from all of this up in the north bay thats where the heavier stuff looks to be looks like were really getting shortchanged in the peninsula a little bit here but the latest model run here so the longer range forecast models we get through this weekend traffic here. Okay and then into next week relatively calm quiet. You know some scattered clouds cooler temperatures into next weekend. This is coming from a different direction, one way coming from the mid latitudes then behind it yet another wave into saturday. Thats coming in from a cold or source and that may actually deliver potentially some snow showers for the Higher Elevations as you can see there so thats kind of interesting. The first week of june will get some snow showers going on our. Heres a look at the 4 zone forecast 68 for San Francisco, 67, daly city pacific at 63. For the northern end of the peninsula upper 60s lower 70s, heading down south weve got the mid to upper 70s that were care sub a key 0. 79 for mountain dew palo alto it 79 in the south bay 80 morgan hill, san jose 79 along with Santa Clara Cupertino 82 for milpitas in the east bay shoreline to the south. But a staffer upper 70s, lower 80s for tri valley, 81 for dublin and soul and up to a walnut creek at 79 concreted 81. This is more than 10 degrees dropped from a day or so ago 71 for berkeley, jumping off here the north bay here we got 77 for sonoma napa at 75 fairfield even 77 vacaville 82, and 76 santa rosa was 70s down to one o one 63 for point rate.
