Some appearing here was like its pairing through some of those fog clouds 69, antioch 66 for concord 64 for livermore with 5060 mixture up to the north bay 65, san jose and 57 for San Francisco. We have the same kind of weather pattern in place for today tomorrow upstream this fronts going to drop south its taken the leisure out here and slow going, but ultimately by the middle of the week well see a little change our weather pattern. But we get there we have the morning fog that mixes out the afternoon showers in the sierra tomorrow, the fog comes back again in the afternoon. The game plan is this weve got morning fog and clouds sunny and warm for the afternoon for the middle of the week we have some minor cooling with mid to a purse 80s working on here and then for the weekend well go back to some of those lower 90s with warming returning with mostly sunny skies, San Francisco at 66 today 73 for oakland, 83 meanwhile for san jose do still have some lower 90s on the board though in the far east bay. We some locations up in the north and Solano County also make it to the lower 90s, you know the warmest spots in the bay, theyll still get their by the middle of the week weve taken them out of the equation. And its really sobering to see beautiful and its also really sad like as i was looking at it and reading their names. I think the thing that struck me the most is i wish i could just like. Talk to these people in person and that they were a name on a heart because they were killed for the color of their skin at the installation in large sign explaining its purpose. In a qr code to scan with your phone to learn more about each of these names while Martin Luther king junior wasnt killed by police. When it comes to Southwest Airlines are free to move about the country but you better not do it without your mask, a new policy, beginning today and ill tell you why this policy is a little bit stricter, then other masks happy monday and welcome back to the kron 4 morning news 9. 29 this morning, lets go ahead and get a check of the forecast the dates for either day a good morning morning, good morning everybody or shot of a cell phone looks like its improving upstart and have it all prepared on the slide here we actually seen some blue skies trying to peer through a little bit there. Golden gate bridge of course we got to work on little bit yeah thats the fog trap it takes a little bit of haim for karl to come up a lot of years so were waiting for that moment where you can see off to the distance were getting some brightness temperatures in the east bay were all graduate into the 60s 69 for antioch 64 meanwhile for livermore 66 conquered up to the north bay, its kind of a 50 story 63 foreign spit the 6 San Francisco in 65 san jose, future cast wind gusts were going to see the uptick in winds that we get the inland heating, good thing thatll keep temperatures somewhat controlled at least well below 100 were going to be in the lower 90s to middle 90s in some spots in Sullivan County and there, but it has cooled off it looks like by the middle of the week is little front dropping south thats taken a while to get here though 85 at 1 oclock at 4 oclock 88. But as we mentioned theres going to be some locations are going to pop up there in the lower 90s now we see some clearing happening here sure coming up in a bit well have your 4 zone forecast and check and that extended as well marty ok sounds good dave see the couple minutes, lets get to a big story. Were following this monday morning and that is more airlines are strengthening their mask requirements this week. Kron fours will tran live at sfo. He has all the details for us i will. In morning murty hows this it is so quiet that i can maintain social distance and not wear my mask otherwise. Sfo would be so busy but now things are changing the airlines would like the customers back at the ticket counter and of course back on the planes to recoup all that money that they lost Southwest Airlines and no different. They are doing something thats a little bit different than the other airlines there in fenton forcing a no mask. No fly no exceptions policy and what i mean by that is that they dont care if you have some preexisting medical condition if you saina it kind of inhibits your breathing they dont care theyre saying that we like to see you after the pandemic but in the meantime we want to make sure that the flying community and their employees are safe. They are joining United Airlines. They started the policy on friday and then 2 days from now American Airlines they will do the same thing by enforcing the no mask, no fly policy in fact theyre even saying as soon as you step foot in any one of their airports please put on your mask and then dont take it off unless of course youre eating and drinking and even then lets not try to milk it put it back on as soon as youre done talk to some passengers this morning marty and theyre saying what took the airline so long to start this. I think that its fantastic idea because its necessary for people to travel, its also necessary for people to take the right precautions during these crazy times. There are people who think it doesnt work its a hoax and probably make them even. More frustrated. Absolutely i think that people you know can do themselves that this justice does not being safe and on top of that theyre putting a lot of people in harms way. Sot thats where were at Southwest Airlines i should say theyre providing masks for those who dont have it and if you refuse to wear of course youre not even going to get on one of their planes. Those are the 3 Major Airlines so not sure what the other airlines are doing, but they tend to follow suit, especially the big 3 are doing this as far as whats going to happen with the other airlines in terms of the it no exception rule still waiting to hear back from American Airlines because southwest thats the first ive ever heard marty where they say preexisting condition or not were not alone you on the plane without a mask and by the way if youre 2 years and younger of course you dont have to wear your mask, but it is advised will what about the middle seat on planes our southwest and the other airlines handling this. Southwest airlines. They did guarantee that they will not have anybody in the center seat at least until this fall they didnt rule that out, but we know that United Airlines and American Airlines and american being the largest carrier in the world they actually started this about a month ago. Some people were not happy about this, but they say if it must be done then of course then you have to wear your mask or should wear your mask and the reason why theyre doing this and theyre getting people by the way the right if youre flying marty and you know youre the center seat united is giving you the option, im not sitting in the center seat and taking another flight. But the problem is they dont have as many flights as they used to say i dont have that many options on the board to choose so marty youll have to squeeze in there and wear your mask, yeah talk about being between a rock and a hard place. Thanks a lot. Well will tran reporting for us from sfo. Well College Students across the country put money down on rent while they were taking the classes on campus.
