Higher fire danger yet again we may be. Well into fall now, but as we know in the bay area that doesnt mean youre out of the woods as far as the fire danger is concerned especially not this week. Us clear skies all across the bay, San Francisco east bay looking beautiful, it is a lovely start to the day. I hope you get out there enjoy the cooler temperatures. Well weve got them, we are already in the midst of red flag warnings those took effect 05 00am this morning for the Santa Cruz Mountains all of the inland east bay and pretty much all the north bay aside from the immediate coastline. Winds will begin to gust as high as 45 Miles Per Hour, especially into the evening tonight thats when these winds really going to start picking up even more so already breezy for spots in the north bay by the afternoon even breezier yet and then come the middle of the night vacaville outlets p calistoga winds 2030 even 40 Miles Per Hour. Regularly for your gusts peak, wind gusts could amount to 50 mile 5 Miles Per Hour for some of our mountain tops which are more exposed. Consistently windy through the day tomorrow across the east bay, upper elevations of the peninsula and all across the north bay. This paired with dry humidity the hot temperatures that we do have and of course the strong winds results in that high fire danger and after such a devastating season so far please be very mindful as you step outside to your activities as we do venture this territory. Temperatures right now are in the 60s for most of us pittsburgh at 64 oaklandalameda hayward all sharing 63 while a few 50s in petaluma and saint helene at the start the morning by the time we work our way into the afternoon daytime highs will rise well into the upper 80s to low 90s along the bay and a warmer upper 90 to midnineties for inland areas and even warmer tomorrow for some of our bayside cities along with those winds ive got the details all still to come back to you this. Well now to our top story and more on our top story this morning its a bad combination of the high winds and the dry hot weather that will likely mean power shutoffs tonight all across the bay area. Yeah napa county one of the areas will probably be hardest hit by it. Kron 4 Sarah Stinson is up in napa county now with more on the story sarah good morning. The north bay will actually be the first hit by this power outage or shut off if it does occur and that would be at 6 oclock tonight as many as 33,000 pg e customers will be without power at 6 oclock tonight in the sierras and here in the north bay at 6 oclock if genie decides to go through with this power shut off. Take a look at the maps you can see just who would be affected and they said 2 hours after thats around 8 oclock other portions of the sears in the bay area that including an additional 21,000 customers could also lose their power of course right now live in calistoga city hit hard by the glass fire and people up here in the north bay theyre now facing more fire danger due to dry hot and windy weather conditions tonight. Wind gusts will be ramping up possibly even hitting as high as 55 Miles Per Hour. And thats the biggest concern for pg need that combined with bone dry humidity causes for major concern so theyre looking at that theyre also looking at the red flag warning that was issued pg says shutting off the powers a precaution to decrease the chances of a wildfire from sparking up. But its also the last resort and thats going why they notified everyone saying it possibly could be shut off and then they say. They give you more and more notifications later saying yes in fact if they will have to turn off power due to that weather as it was predicted to be pretty bad the highest probability areas are the north bay mountains near mount seeing holiness small pockets in the east bay near mount diablo the Oakland Hills east of piedmont and portions of the Santa Cruz Mountains now to prepare is something weve been weve been all talking about preparing for these power. Shut offs and that is the best thing to do is to make sure you have water you have those non perishables you have extra batteries get those portable chargers for phones because you really want to have your phone available for any updates that occur and then if you have a generator thats always good to practice using before you actually needed and pg e actually does supply of generators to some of the areas that are affected and now i have an interview set. With the genie in 5 to 10 minutes so once im done with that ill make sure to provide you an update right here on the kron 00 04am morning news for now reporting live in calistoga Sarah Stinson kron 4 news okay looking for that interview sarah. Thank you. Well the east bay is going to be another part of the bay area that firefighters will be concerned about pg e will be making a final decision this morning on which particular areas with the could have their power shut off kron 4 scenery sackey report from oakland. Pg and e customers living in the east bay hills are bracing for a possible Public Safety power shutoff on wednesday. But are you concerned the head of the possible power cant turn on the fan to call myself off. When its really hot miserable being in the house 9095 degree weather. You know i just cant call law it hot dry and windy conditions expected to make their way through the bay area. A red flag warning was also issued for elevated areas in the east bay like the Oakland Hills. I need to walk ins lives first thought is im keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it doesnt happen. And second if it you know the way this year his gun, its kind of got boy just one more thing i hope it doesnt it will be kind of a nuisance if it does pg says. Neighbors here can expect a possible power shut offs to start at 08 00pm on wednesday and last through friday morning forecasted yesterday dissipated stories 65 Miles Per Hour weeks and these high winds to subside thursday or potentially friday morning even before these weather events. Neighbors in the oakland and Berkeley Hills were concerned about wildfire dangers so much that the citys closed scenic turnouts like grizzly peak to discourage people from hanging out there and setting off illegal fireworks if the genie does in fact have these power shut offs they expect to restore power by 10 00pm friday night in oakland Taylor Bisacky kron 4 news. Well as continue our Team Coverage, the red flag warning in the east bay has caused several east bay, Regional Parks to shut down and theyre expected to stay closed at least through friday. Kron fours reyna harvey is live at Kennedy Grove regional Recreation Area in el sobrante good morning good morning officially, the park is closed and as a result of that you have residents in the area were going to enjoy it like true rating behind me and his beautiful dog there. I was really bummed about i really enjoy i really enjoy the park i really enjoy take my dog out here in the morning. Before you know i go to school or work. Im just kind of. Discuss that they are closed. I know that theyre just trying to be safe and i dont really see any smoke or fire out. I just wish that they could just you know, you know like an alert but. Yes, so i mean you guys cant do the park here today so what are you guys going to do instead. I think were going to go tryout tilden its up the street from here. I think were just going to see if theyre open if not then well probably just go home. And i enjoy it, you know just having a nice straw around a park. You i have the answer for that for you in a second were going actually put this up on your screen. This is a list. But its not clear if it will have support from democrats. Also a Close Encounter with a Mountain Lion caught on camera well tell you what the man did that add outline stocking up. And early voting is setting records across the country as voters face long lines trying to cast their vote before the november election. Heres a quick live look outside as we go you hear of highway 90 to the san mateo bridge. Sunshine out there this morning well be right when you take a look at her record, it all begins to unravel. Ann ravels no reformer, shes backed by big corporations whove poured hundreds of thousands into her campaign. And she opposes ballot measures to make the economy more fair for working people. Only dave cortese is endorsed by the California Democratic party. Hes helping us battle the pandemic with a sciencebased approach. And expanding Health Services and child care to those in need. For state senate, Democrat Dave cortese. Welcome back everyone despite the current fire season, california is moving forward with plans to close 8 of its 43 in may fire camps. Officials say there simply arent enough in may firefighters in these camps to keep them open as thousands of prisoners are being released early to slow the spread of covid19 cal fire says its now working to fill the gaps. We definitely dont want to see a panicked into the closures this has been a trend that weve been watching for a number of years and we have been planning for the change out of inmates to other types of of crews. Well cal fire also acknowledges more resources are necessary as the states wildfires, worsen, and of course were tracking wildfire conditions thats a combination you know dry conditions hot weather windy conditions as well yeah all 3 of those are the ingredients for red flag warning iran in the Weather Center right now talking about how theyre all coming together this week. Yeah guys, those factors all lining up for a return to the heightened fire conditions that weve become so familiar with so far this fire season. And continue to see even as we work our way fall here. You can see skies are beautiful in Crystal Clear oftentimes we dont have that marine layer, its replaced by an offshore wind that we do see fire danger kicking up. And thats exactly what were in the midst of yet again to close out the week now winds of already picked up somewhat this morning, although not near a breezy us just yet well save that for overnight tonight into tomorrow morning when winds for the north bay, especially gustin to a 40 to 50 mile per hour range for your peak wind gusts look at these wind contours as they spread further south across the rest of the bay area come the middle of the day tomorrow lasting into friday morning. This wind event is going to carry us through the rest of the week with a heightened fire danger because of the strong winds dry humidity and then the heat that weve already seen but is only going to get hotter and hotter in the days to come upper elevations of the Santa Cruz Mountains winds gusting as high as 35 Miles Per Hour all across the inland east bay, including upper elevations, inland valleys. Gus also into a 35 mile per hour peak, wind range Solano County all of napa county and most of sonoma and marin counties seeing winds gusting into a range of 4550 to even peak wind gusts of 55 Miles Per Hour again. These are in effect until friday at 11 00am so this is the rest of the day today all of thursday and much of friday before we do see relief into the upcoming weekend with still some hot weather. But calmer winds and gradually cooling temperatures. Today a little warmer than yesterday for coastal spots, a mix of 70s 80s right along the coastline, so even getting toastie right on the pacific shoreline burlingame a 87 today while 90s returning for redwood city saying carlos in Mountain View at 92. Well sunnyvale at 95 today, san jose a warm 87, thats a few degrees warmer than yesterday. More 90s for inland valleys while a mix of 80s to 90s right along the bayshore 90 degrees in san Leandro Oakland and richmond 86 while the legal right at 90 degrees today. Well have solid 90s in the north bay were winds will be the most substantial spots. Thats where that fire is kicks into gear as we all know from seeing these events so often this past season. Now 90s continue inland into thursday and friday not a whole lot of change in land but as hot dry winds drag that heat from our inland valleys closer and closer to the bay you will notice temperatures climbing for bayside cities that means from averages in the 80s today to 90s tomorrow for areas like berkeley and richmond possibly and that will continue into friday. We take a step back from the heat and certainly from the winds to into the start of the weekend and by saturday and sunday red flag warnings that piece of the past still toasty fire danger diminishes. Rob all right. Thank you john lets check in on the traffic, its diminishing to its spinning out Getting Better here the bay bridge toll plaza not as heavy heading into San Francisco, most of the improvement is on the suspension. But here behind the toll plaza where youll have a way, but its not major it slow from the bottom of the maze. It will clear up west of Treasure Island under 15 minutes into San Francisco. So thats a really good drive time and we are hot spot free all right, lets check some more shall we we have 92 across the san mateo bridge, your drive time has improved here as well this is better compared to 7 oclock and 6 oclock this morning. No big problems lead to hayward heading to the peninsula under 30 minutes for that drive. And we also have one across the golden gate, a beautiful shot here. The traffic looks good so far no issues into or out of San Francisco, so still smooth and at the limit. Well we are now just 20 days from the election and voting is underway in dozens of states and as we get closer to the election. Theres a Nonprofit Organization trying to register as many voters as possible a total of a 100,000 volunteers have signed up to encourage people to vote and that includes one couple in las vegas. Sally her explains how it works. They had a special election in 2017 and alabama, and he wanted to make sure that he got more people to vote they prove nearly 3 of the population responded positively and actually voted ed martin is a vote forward volunteer he along with his wife julia are very concerned with this upcoming election. So they decided to join the vote board costs julian have been involved this for probably 1920 days 3, 4 months and together the martins have handwritten a total of 800 letters their message to go out and vote 800 was never really our goal that is kind of what weve gotten to and were pretty were pretty happy with that the martin say they have spent an hour a day writing letters to people who live in places such the Southeast Georgia florida. In the east pennsylvania, weve written in the midwest minnesota, basically you adopt 20 voters at a they have all their is states list it and you print 20 letters on theres a template but you can personalize that with your personal message as to why you feel elections are important ed says a lot of countries in the world dont have the privilege to vote so he and his wife julia are very committed to the cause my wifes note is different than mine when i had in mind i indicated had United States army veteran because i want i want people to know that. As a veteran how important i think this is its not partisan. Its not advocating one way or the other. Its saying you youre in your citizen, you have the right to vote. Please try to get out there and do that. I was sally had meal reporting for us this morning. So far more than 10 million. People have cast their ballots and more states are set to begin early voting in the coming days. Other states that have already begun in early in person voting and reporting long lines in polling places are well some of them on your screen right here. This is video showing long lines in texas in georgia and kentucky. In fact in texas Harris County which includes houston. Set a record for early voting with more than a 115,000 votes cast yesterday alone. George is also seeing a Record Number of early voting. So far. And back here in the bay area were getting a look at what voting looks like this year in Santa Clara County. Election officials are adressing new voting procedures ballot box security and pandemic safety protocols. The county register voters demonstrated their voting booths as you can see. Most people will have will or have already voted by mail but there will also be 100 vote centers for people to cast their ballots in person. The law allows people to observe the polls. And were ok with that but there are rules that come with that you cant interfere with the voting process you cant walk back here behind the processing table and if they interfere we will ask them to leave. Theyre also sanitation and covid safety protocol such as social distancing between voting booths and machines, oneway routes in and out of the news and also posted Health Guidelines. And we here at kron 4 are committed to helping make sure your vote counts so if for any reason you start to experience problems when youre casting your ballots. Let us know well investigate you can email us at voting problems at kron 4 dot com thats voting problems at kron 4 dot com. A 21 coming up next on the kron 00 04am morning news, joe biden and donald trump try to sway undecided voters as the confirmation hearings continue for the president S Supreme Court nominee. A quick live look outside. Weve got a beautiful shot here from the bay bridge toll plaza camera back with another weather update just a bit. Welcome back everyone in national news, the senate will be taking up another covid19 relief bill next week. But it is unlikely to pass Senate Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell says that he scheduling the first procedural vote on the bill. Well, lawmakers return to washington dc on monday. They will be voting on a scale down bill but it will likely not have any support for the democrats. The fight to pass another stimulus bill fell apart this past weekend when talks broke down between treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin and House Speaker nancy pelosi. Well happening right now the confirmation hearing for President TrumpS Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett is underway as she continues to face questions now for a second day from members of the Senate Judiciary committee re monitoring the hearing will bring you updates as they develop throughout the morning, however, if youd like to watch it uninterrupted. You can always go to kron 4 dot com or streaming at there. And now democratic president ial nominee joe biden is finally answering questions about whether he would pick pack the court if he were elected. Ive already spoken on im not a fan courtpacking but im i dont want to get off on that whole issue. I want to keep focused not the president will love Nothing Better than to fight about whether or not i would in fact tactic order not back to court and center. Biden had been criticized in the past for not directly answering the question about Court Packing some democrats have suggested that if judge barrett is confirmed then they would add seats to the supreme court. If they win the white house and the senate this coming november. Meanwhile President Trump was in pennsylvania last night trying to sway voters in the all important swing state. He had a very specific message for women. So can i ask you to do me a favor suburban women would you please like me. We say suburbia in the u. S. Most recent polls show the president trailing joe biden among female voters specifically in the suburbs. In Santa Clara County, good news. If you want to go to your favorite restaurant because covid cases are down you can actually now guy in just a few months, weve learned a lot more about the covid19 virus. Its real. And its dangerous. So, on behalf of all of us working on the front lines, please take it seriously. And while we dont yet have a cure or a vaccine, we do know how to keep you and your loved ones safe. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Stay six feet apart. Do your best to stay out of crowded spaces. And get a flu shot, its even more important this year. We can do this. If we do it together. Welcome back everyone and thanks for staying with us james we were just talking about the temperatures going up and the fire danger increasing. Yeah thats going to be a big story today and for the i guess the next several days we got john here in the Weather Center talking about how long this hot high fire danger weather is going to last a drone and guys its going to be a few days ahead of us and youre indeed right temperatures are climbing we are seeing wind speeds climbing as well and all during this time remaining very dry. Due to the nature of these winds dragging in with it some very hot and dry air and really pushing out any of that marine layer that is nonexistent across the bay today does make for a beautiful shot from our sutro tower though were already in the midst of red flag warnings they took effect at 05 00am this morning and will remain in through to friday at 11 00am this is a multiday event right here upper elevations of the Santa Cruz Mountains all of the inland east bay and then the vast majority of the north bay affected by this heightened fire danger winds gusting regularly up to 45 Miles Per Hour peak. Guess even higher than that 50 to 55 Miles Per Hour. Were all too familiar with what this means after such a devastating fire season so please as you plan out the rest of your week be very mindful and cautious of these extreme fire conditions winds have already picked up. Thats why we are looking at red flag warnings already and will gradually pick up further more through the rest of the day today tonight into tomorrow morning will be the peak of this wind event with gusts regularly up to 30 to 40 Miles Per Hour for parts of the north bay, 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour for parts of the east bay consistently tomorrow winds will stay with us tomorrow going to be one of our hottest days, one of our driest in one of our windy us too. Before we back off of the winds midday on friday. And eventually do see some relief at least from heightened fire danger into the upcoming weekend. Right now were in the 60s for most of the bay at least concord at 60 degrees oakland. Hayward each at 63. While pittsburgh got 66 few holdouts in the north bay still hanging on to the mid 50s like napa san anselmo and saint helena later on today, its upper 90s for a few of our inland spots averaging out to the mid 90s inland, upper 80s to low 90s right along the bay talking more about what it will be like right where your app still to come back to you. Now to a big story that were following for you this morning alameda and santa clara counties are the latest to enter the orange tier of reopening, yeah which is good news. I mean that means more Indoor Dining is possible. Shopping indoors as well Health Officials are quick to warn this doesnt mean were out of the coronavirus threat. But at least its gone down enough that we can start to ease up a little bit thats right. We have to continue to practice safety to check in with kron fours will tran who is live in Santa Clara County this morning with the details will. I mean santana row and it has played a restaurants and stores and with the new here that Santa Clara County is allowed to move into these places will thrive, especially the restaurants during the rainy in winter seasons because now they can bring people indoors. You can see theyre already doing Outdoor Dining and with the orange here they can add more chairs up to 200 people can do Outdoor Dining at some of the bigger restaurants. Let me quickly pull up a map for you this is what were doing this state colorcoded a lot of areas its probably the easiest way to pass along information you can see the purple and thats like Sonoma County thats widespread risk for covid19 james robin you talked about alameda being in the orange santa clara now joined said in santa clara now is the largest county in california to move into orange which is moderate risk that allows the restaurants to have 50 capacity for Indoor Dining. But Santa Clara County they saw that they actually take it one step further it so theyre only saying 25 as far as Indoor Dining in there so ahead of the curve as far as the states requirements that they set a bar, the county here met the bar and actually exceeded it. But the Health Director for the Santa Clara CountyHealth Department says it is far from over. Think its really important to remember that any indoor activity where you have to remove the face covering. Is going to increase your risk. And so. Anyone who is in a Higher Risk Group or who is in a household with someone in a Higher Risk Group. We strongly discourage highrisk activities like Indoor Dining. You can see the chairs right there they are ready to go santana row should have people start coming in about 11 oclock this morning so great news for Santa Clara County just to give you some numbers to pass along the state would accept a 5 Positivity Rate as far as covid 19 cases in Santa Clara County. Its one 0. 7 so they are far better than what even the state was asking for but not out of the woods as far as getting a massage or you know the sun is that you can go to because thats just too intimate. Also concert events too many people shoulder to shoulder, thats still not available to you, but at least now Santa Clara County can allow Indoor Dining santana row is fabulous and its a lot easier to eat when youre not from being outside in the cold come the winter time. Back to you thats the truth thank you very much well. Were tracking the coronavirus numbers across california and right here in the bay area. So far the state has recorded more than 862,000 cases with more than 16,000 deaths here in the bay area there are now more than a 107,000 reported cases and more than 1600 deaths. Anthony lie lily is pausing their Coronavirus Vaccine trial due to potential safety concerns. This comes after johnson and johnson was forced to stop their Covid Vaccine trial after reporting a patients unexpected illness. President trump has continued to promise a vaccine before election day on the campaign trail. There is concern in the general population animal medical professionals that there might be some political influence to cut corners and will lease a vaccine for general use. Thats because so much has been heard that vaccines from the political side during the campaign. A number of people at the food and Drug Administration and the nih made very strong statements that we are going to see it here to the highest scientific standards. Johnson johnson declined to reveal any more details or specifics about the illness. Citing the part of the patients privacy. Memory schools in Alameda County can now reopen with in person classes. Yesterday was the first day back for some students in livermore our Savior Lutheran Church was one of 7 private Elementary Schools, to bring students back inside classrooms have been set up for social distancing and students will be split. It will split the week at home and then on campus, so theyre going to alternate teachers have to wear face coverings desks and other equipment will be sanitized frequently its huge its so important for kids to be with their teachers over computer screen is not normal for them, its very frustrating. For them to try and learn that way and stay focused. 14 other private Elementary Schools will be open by next month but Public Schools in Alameda County are not reopening for in Person Instruction at least not at this time. Still ahead on the kron 00 04am morning news, hawaii is bracing for visitors to return. The steps they are taking to keep everybody safe during the pandemic and also after the break how can you celebrate halloween without the usual trick or treating up. So the question. Well state Health Care Leaders have an answer for you. And a live look outside a beautiful shot of the Richmond Sandra fell bridge, lots of sunshine on your screen, well have your full forecast coming up in when was the last time your property tax bill went down . What . Never. Are you kidding me . For years, the residential burden has gone up. While the corporate burden has gone down. Prop 15 reverses that. It closes corporate loopholes and invests in schools, small business, and firefighters. And when the big corporations pay more, your tax bill goes down. Thats right. A savings of a hundred twentyone dollars a year for the average home. Give homeowners a break. Vote yes on 15. We are back time now is 8. 40 halloween and dia de los muertos its gonna look a lot different this year in California State Health leaders released new guidelines for trick or treating another holiday gatherings and they point out that door to door trick or treating. Its going to Contact Tracing really hard. If an outbreak should occur. The state says the safest way to celebrate is to spend time with people in the same household and ive been doing that all year long but maybe celebrate virtually. The states list their latest set of recommendations comes as california continues to see stability in its case numbers Positivity Rate and hospitalizations for covid19 they are all trending in the right direction and they want to keep it going that way yes lets keep it up but while traditional door door trick or treating is considered a highrisk activity. One Contra Costa County parent is refusing to let the Pandemic Take the joy out of the holiday Danielle Miller of martinez created a safe way to distribute candy using a pvc pipe, pretty clever she and her neighbors are coming up with creative hands free halloween experiences for trick or treaters. Were using a large pvc pipe and were going to shoot the candy down were working were gluttons make sure that were not spending any germs. So when the kids come actually going to be standing 6 feet away from each other on the glow necklaces that will have on the ground and so they able to stand apart and wait for their turn to get there can be and then when its their turn in line were going to shoot some candy down so they can put it in their their halloween. Bags. Sure the kids will like that. Miller says theyre also creating a map of homes that are following Health Guidelines and taking precautions to keep the children safe. That is a really good idea and a good idea get outside a bit earlier than not today because daytime highs later on this afternoon toasty right now were still comfortable though, and still well happening tomorrow people can begin traveling to hawaii without having to quarantine once they get to the islands. If you have a negative coronavirus test. The state says that additional Safety Measures are in place right now to deal with any increase of travelers. Starting tomorrow officials expect between 2 3,000 visitors start arriving per day. The governor says the state is adding up that put up to about 200 contact tracers to help deal with travelrelated infections theyre also urging federal relief money or using federal relief money to pay for more covid testing and testing equipment this means we will have hundreds of thousands of additional tests that we can use. To manage the virus in our community as we resume economic activity. Why state Officials Say that theyre excited but also bit nervous about allowing visitors back onto the island. They say they to take a risk low because the economy is in a free fall and they have to start reopening somewhat. A true to life sure sounds the fate of Alliance Certified the Oakland Airport as the First Certified trusted testing and travel partner why requires passengers to take a covid test with and negative result, 72 hours before arriving thats in order to avoid the states 14 day mandatory quarantine you want to have to go through that the Oakland Airport currently has one covid testing site. But another one is planned to open up this thursday testing is available to the public. Theres no out of pocket cost to those that want to get tested. You have to have an appointment though appointments are required travelers that we talked to say the added service is a good thing. I think people are very conscious of because we want to get back out there to stay you know i a bay area is not the same without you know the hustle and bustle and seeing the people and everything and having all the tours having covid is scary for everyone and i think that having that extra layer of consideration in traveling in an airport makes lot of sense. Well appointments are available at the northfield testing site from 09 00am to 05 00pm daily. And well also be available from 06 30am until 02 00pm in the afternoon at the new main Passenger Terminal testing site. All right lets talk about the weather because we know its going to be awfully dangerously so especially with the fire danger on the high side robin thats right the winds going to be picking up to john trouble has a look at what we can expect hey there john yeah guys high fire danger in the days to come in not just today either but lasting through really the rest of our work week ahead of us today already shaping up to be a hot irwin and windier conditions already is kicking into gear across the north bay as for your east bay view well, its beautiful to start the day and were still comfortable right now so enjoy the mornint while we do have relatively mild conditions. Those arent going to last by the afternoon a noticeably warmer day than yesterday and definitely windy year to thats going to be even more of a noticeable change from yesterday. Winds have been consistent but relatively light throughout the course of the morning so far taking further into gear this afternoon and really peaking come tonight into tomorrow morning thats when our highest gust can be expected at times in the north bay as high as 50 Miles Per Hour. Consistently, breezy conditions through the day tomorrow for the north bay, the east bay and upper elevations such as the Santa Cruz Mountains on the peninsula. Friday still windy to start but starting to calm down later in the day on friday and that sets us up for a much calmer weekend and a step back from our peak fire danger which we are in the midst of red flag warnings kicked into gear this morning at 05 00am likely before you even got up and will last until 11 00am on friday. This includes the Santa Cruz Mountains with peak wind gusts up to 35 Miles Per Hour. All of the inland east bay that youre east bay hills and youre inland valleys, peak, wind gusts also around 35 Miles Per Hour. Solano county the entire county as well as all of napa county.
