Police now confirm to us that one of those vehicles was stolen. This happened right near international boulevard and 54th avenue was about 9. 30, last night. The pedestrian was hit by the first vehicle while crossing the street. The impact of that collision then push them further into the road where they were later hit by a second vehicle. The people inside the first vehicle abandoned it and ran away. The driver was later found and taken into custody. Its 902, and no turn on red signs could be coming all over San Francisco. Yeah, she announced plans that would require people who suffer from addiction to be screened and tested. Before they can receive more money from the city. The agency that oversees the financial Assistance Program says it only applies to single adults between 18 and 65 years old and about 5200 people are getting Cash Payments of 700 to 1000 a month right now they can qualify for that money by saying simply saying they are suffering from Substance Abuse and then they get the cash. Yeah. But under the mayors new plan, people will be required to be screened to prove that they are, in fact, addicted to drugs. And that they are in treatment. No word on how that process will work. But in the meantime, mayor breach says far too many people are refusing the available help and are dying from drug overdoses on the streets. People are not accepting help. And so now its time to make sure. That were cutting off resources that continue to allow this behavior to occur with out the economy. The dual diagnoses folks are trying to access treatment for people who are monolingual and a language other than english all say that were not actually meeting our treatment on obligation. This is a concept. In a way to try to help people. I will not participate in anything that will make peoples lives worse. One of the reasons as supervisor mandelman stated. We have to believe that we can do better to deliver services or wont work. Theres no point to it. Quinton moody also known as Kristen Rossi admitted to creating fake fbi documents to get the vehicles back and also admitted to committing Insurance Fraud and transporting marijuana out of state. The labor Union Representing the firefighters said the lack of staffing at the santa teresa district fire station puts the community at risk. They say the santa teresa station only handle 6 of the city service demand. So there is no need for a fully staff station. City council is set to discuss this at its meeting on tuesday.
