There protesting for unfair labor practices asking for better pay better staffing and performance bonuses. States include washington, colorado, oregon, maryland, virginia, d c almost 60,000 right here in california with around 20,000 coming out of the bay area. The contract expired for these workers over this past weekend. They are hoping for a 67 pay raise in the first year of a fouryear contract asking for a 25. Minimum for all healthcare workers. Kaiser says its offer. 23 an hour in california. And 21 outside of california saying that its already met different goals. One, for instance, was hiring 10,000 employees by the end of the year that are represented up by the coalition. They say that theyve already met that by this month with just 3 months earlier. They also say that they continue to bargain in good faith and theyre doing it in the best interest of their employees and its members. Take a look.
