Whens it going to cool probably be the last time we see heat like this year. So here we go. Enjoy it. While we havent really likely see some records broken around the bay area. Today, we tied one record at sfo. 86 degrees at the airport. In San Francisco out there, you know, weve got clear skies right now and so very warm temperatures. 71 degrees in hayward where the sites in downtown San Francisco. How about that 78 degrees right now at 10 oclock. 74 in san jose. 72 in san carlos and 72 in vallejo. So these temperatures running very warm in many spots around the bay area. Not going to cool off that much. So thats the concern. And so the National Weather service says the heat advisory continuing until 11 oclock on thursday. That stretches from San Francisco down the peninsula, the santa clara valley, the east bay and also the north bay. All those areas shaded in orange likely to see temperatures of the 80s and 90s. And again, many records likely broken as we head toward tomorrow afternoon, right . All the numbers you see with the masters. Those are forecast numbers. Many of the students of era palestinian or muslim descent, all of them asking israel to end its attacks on gaza. San Francisco Unified School District also issued a statement of support for the students. President biden set to address the nation about the middle east conflict tomorrow night at 5. And well be carrying that live right here on kron. 4. This, of course, comes as the president heads back to the u. S. After meeting with israeli Prime Minister netanyahu in tel aviv. While in israel, President Joe Biden strongly condemned the hamas terrorist attack and he said the u. S. Will continue to support israels defense. President biden also expressed concern for innocent Palestinian Civilians in gaza. Who are being devastated by the war, including the hundreds who were killed at an explosion at a gaza hospital. He says the u. S. Will also send 100 Million Dollars to both gaza and the west bank while returning to washington on air force one, President Biden says conversations with both the israeli Prime Minister and egyptian president lead to an agreement to allow limited humanitarian aid into gaza. And tonight were getting an experts of perspective on this intensifying conflict. Our grant lotus is live from the newsroom with that part of the story. Grant vicki earlier today, a stanford lecture Janine Zacharia and i spoke. She lived in israel for many years, reported on the middle east and u. S. Foreign policy. For several prominent news outlets, i started by asking her what President Biden accomplished with his highly unusual planned visit to an active war zone. He filled a void of leadership and comfort that people in the country have been lamenting. Theyre also not accustomed to feeling this insecure. Yes, israel has been through many wars, many rounds of fighting, especially with hamas since israel withdrew from the gaza strip in 2005. But i feel like theres a new level of anxiety in the country. So he went and reassure israelis that they are not alone. And in spite of what they are watching around the world, which is very, very angry, anti israel protests erupting, you know, pretty much everywhere around the globe. And it is well documented. Theres no clear or easy solution. But zakaria says the Main Objective of the International Community should be get the hostages out. Get aid in. Figure out how to dislodge the moss. I imagine well see maybe some kind of a temporary partial israeli re occupation of the gaza strip so they can. You know, at leadership, its not going to easy enterprise. And then you have to think about how do you protect all the Palestinian Civilians that are caught up and who dont like hamas and obviously are suffering under israeli airstrikes right now as they try to eliminate this threat. And as so many people feel onesided or maybe conflicted, she says its reasonable to acknowledge 2 separate wrongs. You have to hold in mind that there was these terrible atrocities committed against israeli civilians and the pound, the Israeli Occupation is bad right . So its and there we need to work towards a solution towards that. The International Community. Zakaria said that the u. S. Is right to feel cautiously optimistic, at least for now that putting 2 aircraft carriers in the mediterranean is a Strong Enough show of force 2 to tehran and its proxy. Hezbollah from getting more involved militarily. Ken vicki, back to you. All right. Thank you for that grants.
