But a few hours later, police say 2 people were robbed at gunpoint after leaving dinner on locust street near botelho drive. The medical examiner now has identified the motorcycle rider who died in a crash on highway 101, in palo alto. The crash happened saturday. Melvin Alfredo Torres guzman was on the motorcycle. Well, the identities of 2 inmates who were found dead at the maguire correctional facility have now been identified publicly. Peter Edward Mclaughlin and Ronald Simmons were found dead in 2 separate instances a day apart. Mclaughlin was found dead in his cell early friday morning. He was discovered during an hourly check in the initial statement from the Sheriffs Office, they believe locklin was most likely died of natural causes, although a full investigation is underway. Simmons was found unresponsive saturday in another cell at the Jail Behavioral Health unit. Simmons was fortunately, unable to be revived. His death initially believed to be a suicide.
