Rather than go through the details, one important ta was not only was ridgway lockdown the Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa High School one combined campus. They were all shut down. The suspect is being questioned by detectives now. We are still looking for the handgun used in the incident and until the handgun has been located we will continue to lockdown the school campus. The hope is to bring transparency and accountability after 40 inmates died at the dublin facility since january 1, 2014. A spokesperson for the board of supervisors previously said the board would not do an audit until a smaller one youre doing is done and reviewed. Police have arrested one person in connection to a shooting Ridgeway High School near downtown santa rosa. The owner says last thursday two burglars climbed up a pole come onto the rooftop and slid through an open window. Members of the group called oakland is not for sale packed the City Council Meeting last night and they had support for many parents. Members are protesting the latest wave of closures and mergers affecting thousands of students in the oakland unified School District. I really believe in our Public School education and im totally against School Closures. I think its hurtful and traumatizing. My children have been traumatized with the announcement that their school will be closing. Two schools will close at the end of the school year. Four other schools are merging into two. The School Closures and mergers are necessary given the districts dire financial situation. The world series starts tonight in houston and is the astros taking on the nationals.
