They include tilden park in berkeley, Wildcat Canyon in richmond and redwood park in oakland. Feast original Parks Fire Department says it will be staffing several park fire stations. Some people say they never got a warning pg e was going to turn off the power tonight. I think its incredibly incompetent of pg e not to be more effective in notifying the public. People in the montclair neighborhood in the Oakland Hills enjoyed as best they could tonight before the roads went out. Many restaurant and strainers that anticipate losing thousands of dollars in business during the power shut off. New information on the shooting in oakland this afternoon that killed two men and wounded a third. Police say it appears a street confrontation is to blame. Ktvus amber lee is outside Oakland Police headquarters after asking about gun violence in oakland. Reporter police said the triple shooting comes on the heels of another incident in the same neighborhood last night. A shot spotter recorded more than 60 shots fired. Neighbors tell me they are concerned for their safety. Multiple shots rang out on the 1900 block of 84th avenue in east oakland around 12 45 wednesday afternoon. Police say it appears a confrontation led to the shooting of three men. One died at the scene, the other at the hospital. They were 19 and 23. Police in the third victim, an 18year old, is in stable condition. Neighbors are frustrated by the senseless gun violence. A bunch of cowards, i think. Just fight it out instead of shooting it out. Reporter the two latest killings brings the total homicides in oakland to 78 so far. Three more than all of last year. Maki is an endangered animal and requires specialized care. We are asking the public to help get him returned back to the San Francisco zoo. The zoo says the public is off them before to find a stolen in 2011 and two stolen qualifiers in december of 2000. The company told us in early august it opened a covid19 recovery unit, an isolated wing with its own entrance and started accepting covid positive patients from hospitals, 32 so far. But the California Department of health urged us guild nursing facilities to be prepared to receive covid19 patients. Nursing home families were given no choice in that little communication. She is worried her husband, who is already ill, could soon contract on the virus. Instead of staying in his car near highway 21 and kaiser wrote , garcia through his cell phone out the window, got out of his car and walked toward the sergeant with one hand on his back. Fearing Mister Garcia had a Deadly Weapon tucked behind his back, the sergeant drew his firearm and pointed at Mister Garcia. Reporter the sergeant moved backward and repeatedly asked garcia to stop and show his hands, but he refused. Authorities said garcia kept his hand behind his back and walked aggressively toward the sergeant, who moved around his patrol vehicle to create distance between the two of them. But then garcia picked up the pace. Stop perceiving a deadly threat, sergeant enactment file injured six shots at garcia. All six struck him. Reporter garcia died the next day. Deputies confirmed garcia was not armed but has a history of dui arrests and was drunk that night. Mister garcias blood alcohol level when he arrived at the queen of the Valley Hospital was. 338. Reporter the sergeant is a 21 year veteran of the Sheriffs Office and has been placed on routine paid leave. The sheriff says the body cam footage makes clear he had no choice but to open fire. After reviewing that, we have determined that the deputy acted according to policy and also according to his training. Two people are now in custody for a deadly assault in San Francisco. Overnight tonight we could see gusts up to 50 on mount st. Helena, in the north bay. The red flag warning is for the entirety of the north bay. Just for the hills, the hills above 1000 feet in the east bay in the santa cruz mountains. The rest of the bay area is pretty much left out of it, especially in places like san jose and would have you. But here are the wins. And i went up high. You can see everything is coming off shore. There is that big ridge of high pressure. The highpressure ridge is whats keeping us dry, clearly. Is everything pushes over the top of it the high builds and that the surface and get this pattern, which is so typical for this time of year. You could almost set your watch by it, seriously. What has changed a lot, has this pattern changed . No. Whats changed is our relationship with this pattern. The fire is, our relationship, pg es relationship with the pattern.
