Jeffery Lemor Wheat was arrested in Arkansas last week for an alleged sexual assault in Texas ten years ago.
In 2011, a series of rapes were reported in the Dallas area and the rapist appeared to be targeting members of the Black sorority, Delta Sigma Theta. The victims -- all of whom were in their fifties and sixties during the attacks -- had no relationship with the rapist, but he seemed to know their names.
At the time, leadership warned sorority members to stop wearing sorority T-shirts, attending meetings, and remove sorority decals from their cars and offices.
