Man charged with murder in teen's December shooting death inside apartment elevator near University of Houston – Houston Public Media

Edwin Quinones, 16, was shot to death while allegedly attempting an armed robbery, according to Harris County court records. His suspected accomplice, 18-year-old Larry Hughes, has been charged with Quinones' murder.
