A Bedminster man was given a time-served sentence on charges alleging he assaulted a woman in Plumstead last year.
On Thursday, David Charles Wunsch, 53, was sentenced to one year minus one day to two years minus one day in Bucks County Prison, according to Manuel Gamiz Jr., spokesman for the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
Wunsch, who has been in prison for over a year, was eligible for parole and received a time-served sentence. He was also ordered to undergo mental health and alcohol/substance abuse treatment.
"I am very pleased the judge applied the facts to the law and allowed my client to get the treatment he needs," his attorney Robert Mancini said Friday.
