Mississippi National Guard troops leaving for Washington, DC
The Adjutant General of Mississippi National Guard talked about the number of troops being sent to serve during the Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden next week.

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) -- The Adjuntant General for the Mississippi National Guard released more information about the deployment of troops to Washington, DC.
Major General Janson Durr Boyles says 100 members of the 114th Military Police Company will begin leaving today to support the Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden next week.
He says those being deployed returned from a year-long deployment in Kuwait this fall and have many members who are law enforcement officers in Mississippi.
