Natalie and julie we love you so much, and we couldnt wait to see you here, were gonna see hopefully next week and we are going to celebrate, were gonna have a big party and were gonna hug you and kiss you. They are the first hostages freed since hamas kidnapped nearly 200 people near the october 7th attack on israel. In a statement President Biden said quote, we have not ceased our efforts to secure the release of those still being held. I think the government of qatar, and the government of israel for their partnership in this work. And quote. Just outside of gaza, trucks carrying desperately needed humanitarian aid are still waiting to enter. More than 100 trucks are stuck on the egyptian side of the rafah border between egypt and gaza. This comes as an israeli airstrike hit the oldest active church in gaza, killing at least 18 people. The orthodox patriarchy of jerusalem, the main Palestinian Christian denomination said that Israeli Forces struck the church in gaza city, where hundreds of christians and muslims were sheltering inside last night. Today, the former congressman, the first Palestinian American to serve in congress revealed that several of his relatives were killed in the attack, and in georgia Kenneth Chesebro, a former trump attorney pled guilty in the Fani Willis Case today and well have more on those stories later in the hour because to fully understand americas role in the world of Foreign Policy right now, we have to acknowledge the very real crisis at home. Tonight im joining you from the nations capital, where its been 17 days seniors was to the house wing of the Republican Caucus voted to remove and was possibly the least effective speaker in american history, Kevin Mccarthy. But they didnt have a plan for what came next and now the House Of Representatives is still without a speaker leaving the american gum government effectively broken. Last night, amid a crisis of the middle east, putins invasion of ukraine, and a Government Shutdown less than a month away, President Biden said this. Im asking congress to make sure we can continue to send ukraine weapons they need to defend themselves with their country, without interruption. So ukraine can stop the brutality in ukraine. They are succeeding. When putin invaded ukraine, he thought he would take kyiv and all of ukraine in a matter of days. Over a year later of putin has failed, and he continues to fail. What would happen if he walked away . We are the essential nation. We are the essential nation. Well, americas ability to be the essential nation the world needs to be right now is paralyzed because we dont have a fully functioning government, and we dont have a functioning government because one of our two main parties, you know which one, no longer believes in governing, and far too many of its members no longer seem to believe in democracy. The house cannot pass any aid to israel or ukraine or even rename a post office after some deserving american because of his failed Republican Party. Today the House Republican conference voted by Secret Ballot to drop jim jordan as their nominee for speaker. That is after jim jordans failed on the third floor vote, setting the record for fewest votes received by a majorities nominees for speaker, two days in a row. He broke his own record. Many republicans publicly voted against jim jordan for speaker got a taste of what many have endured since the start of Donald Trumps maga movement. So far i have had for Death Threats. Ive been evicted from my office in colorado. A notice of eviction. Because the landlord is made. After the Iowa Republican Mariannette Millermeeks voted against jim jordan, she released this statement. Quote, i have received credible Death Threats and a barrage of threatening calls. The proper authorities have been notified and my office is cooperating fully. Someone who threatens another with bodily harm or tries to suppress differing opinions undermines trinity for unity and regard for freedom of speech, end quote. Death threats, threatening phone calls and text messages, and an Eviction Notice all because they didnt vote for the trump backed candidate for house speaker. This is the Republican Party. The House Of Representatives is unable to function because the chaos caucus is unable to govern. The house adjourned today until monday with no clear plan to elect a speaker next week. The Republican Party needs to get it together because the world is watching. President biden stressed the importance of americas leadership last night. American leadership is what holds the world together. American reliance is or what keep us america safe and American Values are what make us a partner that other nations want to work with. Joining us now is congressional historian, norm ornstein, an emeritus collar of the American Enterprise institute, and jennifer reuben, an msnbc political analyst. Shes a host of the podcast jen rubins green room. Last time i talk to you guys i thought it was a oneoff conversation that we were gonna talk about house dysfunctional in the Republican Party had become and now im running out of adjectives. Im riding out of things to say because we know the Republican Party is broken but in fairness historically we have had times when the Democratic Party is a little bit broken. This surpasses all historical norms. Absolutely. Weve gone, what is, it 17 days now without a speaker . This is not a failure of one party to negotiate with another or to pass a difficult piece of legislation. This is simply picking a leadership amongst themselves. And this is extraordinary. They are completely paralyzed. This is the natural situation and the natural consequence of Donald Trumps this functional, violent, crazy party. And although i am very sympathetic to those republicans who have received Death Threats, perhaps they now understand what people outside the Republican Party have experienced when they cross donald trump. When it was democrats, independents, members of the media who receiving the sorts of threats. We didnt hear boo from these people. Now that they are getting it, the she was on the other foot. So i think it is really difficult to see how we get out of this, but one thing is clear, and that, is we have a functional, impressive president and it is functional clownish House Of Representatives led by the republicans. I want to get to that point about the president in a moment, but hindsight being 2020, things are becoming clear as we look back. On september 13th, mitt romney published a piece in the atlantic where we found out he wasnt going to run again, in which he talked about republicans in the senate who didnt vote to convict donald trump in his impeachment. He writes, when one senator, a member of leadership, said he was leaning toward voting to convict, the others urged him to consider. You cant do that, romney recalled someone saying. Think of your personal safety, said another. Think of your children. The senator eventually decided they were right. So thats the author of the Story Writing about what mitt romney said. You know, in hindsight now, when you read that i thought to myself, well, thats kind of weird that that would happen. Now we are realizing that there is a basic thuggery that seems to exist among the supporters of donald trump in the United States congress. And its worse than that, ali. It has gone around the country and it affects not just politicians who are cowardly in what they have done, fearing personal safety but also their political careers. But of course we have seen it with violence now against muslims and jews. It has become a culture of violence in the country, and youre right, we can take some of it to donald trump and some of it to talk radio, social media, and other things. I want to put this into a little bit of other Historical Context though, ali. Lets go back 30 years. Newt gingrich pushed aside bob michael, the last great republican leader. Four years later, new greenwich was pushed aside. He is successor, it appeared to be bob livingston, couldnt make it because he had to admit that he had had an affair where the whole thing was impeaching bill clinton. Then we had john boehner pushed aside. The logical successor Kevin Mccarthy at that point was pushed aside. For paul ryan, who couldnt last for more than four years. And then we had mccarthy and now weve got this fars. You said you thought it would be a oneoff, see a next week. [laughter] sadly, thats entirely possible. Jennifer rubin, help us draw the contrast in what we have seen in the world. Its not about whether you agree with joe biden or you even agree with what he is saying and having to do with israel. Joe biden and his team are demonstrating oldfashioned shuttle diplomacy. Theyre flying around the world, they are deeply involved in dealing with the ukraine situation, dealing with the situation between israel and gaza, dealing with the potential and ongoing threat of china and north korea and the fact that iran is in the middle of this tinderbox. It is quite a different scene in the president s world and the world of the administration than it is to the United States congress. It is an amazing split screen, isnt it . You have biden, who is not only leading america but frankly has become almost a titular president of israel because they have a leader, frankly, who is incapable of showing empathy and kindness and understanding. So he is playing the role of grieve orinchief, not only for america, but for another country, for israel. He is making those difficult decisions, as you said. He is engaged in diplomacy. Just today we arranged to have two of the hostages held by hamas released. So as you say, whatever you think of the policies, he is functioning and behaving as the president of United States should. He delivered a serious grownup address from the Oval Office Last night that, frankly, even had a lot of his critics impressed. And then the other side of the screen you had these clowns who were screaming at each other, who cant pick a leader, who cant get organized, emerged from one individual to the next, one scheme to the next. And americans have to look at that and say, the Republican Party is incapable of serving. They are incapable of governing themselves, let alone governing the country. And i hope americans are paying attention to this and taking away the right lesson, which is, unless you get rid of these people and put an emphasis and put a premium on getting a new type of Republican Party, thats what we are stuck with for the foreseeable future. I just got back from israel, and youre not kidding me, i heard a lot of israelis telling me that they would rather have the decisiveness and authoritarian, the authority that joe biden is providing in some cases than people even have with what theyve gotten israel. But let me ask you something, joe biden made the comment that people who want to deal with america are looking at us for leadership. There are a lot of people who dont want to deal with america. Authoritarians around the world who are also looking at the dysfunction in america and perhaps seeking ways to capitalize on it. I think theres no question about that. We have become, in so many ways, a farce to the rest of the world, but also the sense of weakness in leadership. That included Harsh Criticism of biden, even while he was trying to deal with these international crises. We now a substantial number of people in congress who want to cut off aid for ukraine. We know that they continue to push impeachment of joe biden. And lets not forget, ali, that Kevin Mccarthy, steve scalise, jim jordan, the failed ones now, all voted that the election had been stolen, that biden is an illegitimate president. Iv apparently 11 candidates now running to become speaker, nine of them voted that the election had been stolen, right in the immediate aftermath of a violent insurrection. So of course foreign leaders are looking at this and our adversaries are saying, this is great. And russia in particular, which has been trying to sow discontent and division in america, has to be saying, boy did we do a good job. Norma, you make a remarkable point. As norm says, well probably see you next. Week i appreciate both of you. Actually norm, im gonna see you soon or the next week. I think youre gonna be joining me on velshi this weekend. Some dramatic Breaking News on the israelhamas war tonight, Two Americans who were being held hostage are now in israel waiting to be reunited with their family after being released by hamas. 59yearold Judith Raanan and her 17yearold daughter, natalie, from evanston, illinois, were held captive since october 7th when hamas attacked. They were visiting family on a kibbutz near the border with gaza. Just an hour ago, natalies father told reporters how it felt to know that his daughter was safe. I havent been sleeping for two weeks. Tonight im going to sleep good. I spoke with my daughter earlier today. She sounds very good. She looks very good. She was very happy. And she is waiting to come home. Her mother has a little scratch on her hand, but she told me it is nothing. She is okay. Im going to hug her and kiss her and its going to be the best day of my life. After an earlier call with the israeli Prime Minister, benjamin netanyahu, President Biden spoke with the raanan family, telling them they will have the full support of the u. S. Government as they recover from this terrible ordeal. Anthony blinken thanks to the qatari government for helping for the release, and vowed that the u. S. Government would not stop securing the release of other hostages. We share in the relief that their families, friends, and loved ones are feeling. But there are still ten additional americans who remain unaccounted for in this conflict. We know that some of them are being held hostage by hamas, along with an estimated 200 other hostages. Held in gaza. They include men, women, young boys, young girls, elderly people from many nations. Every single one of them should be released. The majority of the 200 hostages are alive and still being held in gaza. Israel continues to pummel gaza with airstrikes, the palestinian and relief agencies report more civilian deaths as Israel Military mobilizes for a potential Ground Invasion to gaza. A spokesman for Israeli Ground forces the release of the hostages today how smart change their strategy, saying its very focused on destroying hamas. Humanitarian aid remains stalled at the rafah crossing along the border of egypt and gaza, something President Biden addressed today. I got a commitment from the israelis and the president of egypt, that the crossing will be open. The highway had to be repaved, it was in very bad shape. And i believe that within the next 24, 48 hours, the first 20 trucks will come across. Joining us now from tel aviv, my colleague the correspondent ellison barber. Alison, the last time i saw you, we were together in israel, and so much has developed since then. Tell me how the calculus has changed, if it hasnt, all with the release of these two hostages . That was the big question tonight, and as President Biden was making his way towards air force one, reporters traveling with him asked him, do you want is really israel to delay its Ground Offensive former hostages to be released . He said yes, but then later the white house clarified saying that he hadnt heard the first part of that question. They said he was losing as to whether not he wanted more hostages to be released but that certainly discussion people are having now. As you said there over 200 people held inside gaza and majority of them, according to israeli officials, they are still alive. You have so many families hoping to have a moment like the one natalie and judiths families had tonight, when they found out they were alive, they found out they were safe, they found out they were coming home. And they are still desperately waiting for any indication that their loved ones are okay or where they are. Most people, they just dont know anything right now. Israel has been pretty adamant in saying that they plan to proceed with a Ground Assault into gaza. They have talked about it a different point is it being imminent and it hasnt happened as quickly as a lot of people were expecting, but they still have over 300,000 troops amassed of the israel gaza border, massive amounts of military equipment, and in the last couple of days we have heard israels Ministry Of Defense speaking to combat troops, Infantry Members there on the border telling them, you have seen gaza from the outside. Soon you will see gaza from the inside. So in terms of their public posture, it doesnt seem theyre going to change what theyre going to do next. They are adamant that their angle was to make sure her never operates again, and they mean governing, they also mean militarily, inside of gaza. That being said, there have been families who have been outside of Military Headquarters in tel aviv prior to this, protesting, watching their loved ones home, and frustrated that it hasnt happened yet. Ali . Ellison, stay safe, my friend. Thank you. Ellison barbara tel aviv. And joining us now is a journalist and i owe you an apology and i was in your country and we didnt get a chance to see each other. But i so rely on your analysis. Lets talk about what ellison was just speaking about, the Israeli Military saying, soon yall see gaza from the inside, seemed to be implying that Ground Offensive. For the families of the hostages, they are, they have been implying that they would like the government to prioritize the hostages, even if that means holding back on some of what is going on in israel, not just the Ground Offensive but the air strikes. What are you hearing from people . Well, we are hearing, still, a lot of confusion. But im sure you have heard when you are here, ali. The government is using this bellicose language and in israel there is a pretty clear feeling and i dont know if its based on fact or not that president s bidens visit was a gamechanger. Today i heard upwardly analysts say that his visit lifted israelis up from the floor where they were before he came, and that touches very close on the hostages families, who he met, who he embraced, to whom he was able to transmit the american commitment to get them out, not only american hostages, but what we are seeing now is something ironically expressed by Judith Raanans brother before their release, when he sped spoke with a an israeli newspaper, and he said thank god they had american citizenship. What are the just israelis going to do . And i think that is a growing fear in israel. Certainly since hamas showed a kind of a Hostage Video biden gave his first speech, and the reaction by a lot of israelis was very positive. And it creates a certain split screen between him and netanyahu. Is it causing netanyahu to have to elevate his game on this front . To say hey, there may be a way to deal with this thats not about being bellicose . Well, President Bidens handling this, with some sophistication. He very publicly and very unequivocally says, im astronaut exist anymore. He said hamas, i cant remember, you may remember, he said hamas is as bad or worse than i. S. I. S. , that the things that american officials, images that they saw were horrifying. So its not that he is saying israel should hold back, exactly. But he is saying that israel should be measured and he says almost every day, he said it today again in a phone call with israeli Prime Minister netanyahu, that israel must adhere to the rules of war, that democratic nations, maybe you hear the call to prayer outside my house. That the democratic nation, so we have that. What i would say netanyahu looks much smaller than he did before the hamas attack, and President Bidens visit and his determination, both to help israelis and to get rid of hamas, as not helped netanyahu burnishes a. Mitch. Just waste indicating how late it is, or how early in the morning. That is the first muslim prayer call of the day, because its Early Morning for you. Noga, President Biden intended speech yesterday, you have rage. Do not let the rage consume you. He was saying dont make the mistakes that the west made or, americanmade after 9 11. How that message received . Was it heard . It was almost coated. He didnt say too many ways, but he said it. He said it. Bidens visit was basically received among israelis as a big huge bear hug. Israelis at this point feel that the more responsible person in the room is american president joe biden. You can see in Hebrew Language headlines is sort of lack of comprehension about whats going on in congress, like you were talking about before, headlines saying biden asked, sorry, i cant remember, Ten Billion Dollars in aid, but congress may freeze it. That kind of lack of comprehension of what was happening in congress. I dont know how many options israel has. Israel is in a situation where mass murderers on its border acted out, killing many people, and i think its maybe delaying this part of the vision. Maybe getting prepared, and the plans may not still be there, there are certainly fears for the hostages, but at the moment im not seeing any of the diplomatic efforts offering israel a genuine way out in the sense of saying listen we can eliminate hamas this other way. Thats a hard conversation. I can only hope that it is happening and you and i dont know about it. But we will continue to talk about it is we have a very long time. Noga tarnopolsky, thank, you and thank you for being up for us at this early hour. Coming up, another guilty plea in georgia for fani williss Kenneth Chesebro takes a deal. Kenneth chesebros last minute decision to plead guilty came after Jury Selection how already began in fulton county, and one day after his codefendant, sydney powell, also an attorney who worked for trump after the election, took a plea deal of her own. As part of his plea, Deal Chesebro agreed to 100 hours of community service, five years of probation, a 5000 dollar fine, to continue to provide documents and evidence, and most concerningly, if your name is donald trump, to testify in any further proceedings against his codefendants. She is pros plea deal is undoubtedly a huge win for the d. A. Willis, who is now secure three guilty pleas in the case, including two from trumps inner circle after his Election Loss in 2020. But could jack smith actually be the biggest winner here . Lets ask our legal experts what they think about that. Joining us now, Andrew Weissmann, former fbi general counsel and former chief of the Criminal Division in the Eastern District of new york. Hes a professor at the Nyu Law School and cohost of the important podcast, prosecuting donald trump. Barbara mcquade is a former United States attorney and Law Professor at the university of michigan law school. They are both msnbc legal analysts. Also with us is amy lee copeland, a Criminal Defense Attorney and former georgia federal prosecutor. Welcome to all three of you. Thank you for being with us. Amy lee, let me start with you. This was all thought of by everybody as some sort of a gamble. These two had, Still Chesebro and powell had sought and early trial, and this was going to go to trial. Sydney powell pleads out an hour left with kendis chesebro. What does it mean that he is also blamed . Amy, were having an audio issue with you. Were gonna check that out and come back with you in a moment. Barbara, let me put that question to you. What is the overall significance of this . Well, its incredibly significant for a number of reasons. One is, valueless doesnt have to go to trial next week. She secured a conviction and she has removed any risk of an acquittal by a jury. But also, she avoids having to show her hand with a Preview Trial before the other defendants go to trial. So the most important reason that this is such a win for fani williss, to have the testimony and cooperation of Kenneth Chesebro. He, more than any of these other defendants, is a key to all of this, because he was the architect of the fake electors scheme. So in addition to admitting to committing the crime by conspiring to do that, today he has also provided a recorded proffer of his testimony. That testimony can help her to convict some of the other people involved in this case, including john eastman, including donald trump. Lets talk about that a little bit, andrew. The idea that he has got to provide things. Theyve got a lot of stuff already. They prove the january six prosecution and the fani willis georgia prosecution. It got a lot of stuff connecting all of these folks. What is it, if you are donald trump, what are you most worried about right now . Well, what you dont know with respect to mr. Chesebro, is what exactly he will say. Hes got an obligation to testify truthfully. And if he doesnt, he can go to jail. His deal is that he gets probation if he testifies truthfully. And he will have evidence with respect to coconspirators. He may not have direct evidence against donald trump, but he has direct evidence against Rudy Giuliani and john eastman. And i am if i am one of the two of them, its not a good day because they are both reported to be unindicted coconspirators in the federal case. They are indicted conspirators in the georgia case. And they are now somebody with direct evidence who can testify against them. And as barbara said, what he has pled, to unlike What Sydney Powell pled to, is something that is core to the january 6th scheme. He has now admitted, as part of his guilty plea, that he was part of a scheme to defraud the voters of georgia, to overturn their votes in the president ial election. That is central to the georgia indictment. Amy lee copeland, i think we have you back, we fix the issue. Let me ask you about, everybody involved in the georgia case has done every whatever they could to save their case, moved to federal court, and now there are a bunch of people who are gonna go to trial. What does the fact that this is happened in the last few days mean for the rest of that trial . Well, as barb mentioned. This is great. The dea now does not have to show her case to the other 16 defendants who remained and tried. Thats gonna be an element of surprise. Its a lot easier to hit in this ball if youre opponents as im shooting this forehand crosscourt court. The dea doesnt have the situation. So shes got. That she also has people involved in this game who can give light documents and shed personal touch on the emails. Shes got a really interesting set of cooperators. We of course know about chesebro and powell. Weve talked a lot about them. But lets not underestimate scott hall and bill bonds who pleaded. First when you look at what hes done, hes a number for beginning in the 2020 when hes actually talking to campaign folks about getting something together in georgia. And we see him at the end of the Coffee County scheme, he is a 63 minute call to Jeffrey Clark and hes also in a strange very hurried Telephone Exchange about the threats to the poll workers. So she has three really interesting cooperators, two of home, whose merits seem obvious pretty quickly, and then you get the Bail Bondsmen who seemed to be in a lot of places all at once and dealing with a lot of people. Do you think this results and more cooperators . I think so, especially since paul and chesebro pleaded guilty. They are breaking the code of silence. Theyre there coming forward. And they are showing that its fine to stand up and look out for yourself in this whole situation. Amy lee copeland, thank you for joining. Us andrew and barbara, stay with us, because there is more bad news for Defendant Trump tonight as the judge it is new york fraud case warned he could be imprisoned if he doesnt follow the courts gag order. Well have more on that, next. Tourists tourists that turn into scientists. Tourists taking photos that are analyzed by ai. So researchers can help life underwater flourish. Take a moment to pause and ask, why did you get vaccinated against Pneumococcal Pneumonia . I help others. But i need to help protect myself. Honestly . I couldnt afford to get sick. Theres Breaking News today in the new york civil fraud trial of donald trump, who was today found to be in violation of the gag order that the judge had imposed. Judge Arthur Engoron was furious after he found that a false inflammatory posed by donald trump, attacking engorons clerk, was still on Trumps Campaign website after trump had been ordered to remove it earlier this month. Judge engoron told trumps attorneys, quote, i made it clear that failure to comply will result in serious sanctions. They remained on the Donald J Trump campaign site, and in fact it has been on there for the past 17 days it was removed late last night after an email from this court. Incendiary untruths can and have led to serious physical harm. And quote. Trumps attorneys apologized to the judge, claiming that the post was mistakenly left up on the man Campaign Website after it was removed from social media. Judge engoron find trump 5,000 and said make no mistake, future phony violations, whether intentional or intentional, will subject violator to fire more severe sanctions which may include or are not limited to steeper financial penalties, Holding Donald trump and kim turn tempt of court, and possibly imprisoning him, and to quote. Later today trump said trump said a Fundraising Email said im willing to go to jail. And widened specifically said the gag order, he seemed clearly what he was referring to. In other gag order news, can you believe, that the gag order the judge tanya checkin placed on trump has been temporarily suspended while trump appeals. Judge chutkan will issue her final ruling on the gag order after october 28th. Still with, us Andrew Weissmann and barbara mcquade. These two gag orders are different things. We will talk about them both. Andrew, lets talk about judge engorons, the 5000 dollar fine. The response ive seen from many people to that is, one of the 5000 dollar fine for donald trump mean . Tell me what the significance of it is . The amount of money is nothing. But what he is saying is, look, i credit that you do this inadvertently. You took down the post, social media, but you didnt do it from your website. But the judge had every right to be livid, because what he is concerned about, and what i think all courts that have donald trump is a defendant would be concerned about, is he is language resulting in people being hurt. And witnesses being in danger and threatened and people who are just civil servants, doing their job, having to fear for their lives. All of those are concerns because of the language of the former president of the United States. And so judge engoron was saying look, i understand what was happening here. It better not happen. Again its important to know that he did say that the penalty for this Going Forward can include going to jail. Obviously any judge is going to consider the circumstances, whether its intentional and whether its a blatant violation with respect to witnesses or other people that would result in harm. Barbara, lets talk about judge tanya chutkan, the d. C. Federal case where there was also a partial gag order on donald trump. He appealed it and she has issued what is called an administrative stay, which i understand to mean that the parties now have until october 28, or whatever date she puts, to make their submissions and she will make a decision on it. Yes, shes is preserving status quo, shes not gonna enforce the gag order until they work through this next round of motions, and that is donald trump has said he wants to appeal and until the appeal is resolved, once the ability to be able to speak. But the judge will allow the prosecutors to respond, to see what the responses. Shes really giving him a lot of leash here. I think your gag order is on very solid ground. Just because its so narrow, certainly restrictions on speech are viewed with a great deal of skepticism, but the test is usually whether there is compelling governmental interest and the order is narrowly tailored to achieve that interest. So here when youre thinking about the administration of justice on the safety of all of the people involved here, the very narrow order just says he cannot publicly target members of the court staff, not including her. Witnesses in the case. Parties to the case. But he can say anything he wants about the justice department, about joe biden in the biden ministration, about the case, and even about judge chutkan herself. And so i think that this order is appropriately narrow. I think it will withstand appeal. And the question is simply whether in the meantime donald trump will be subject to this gag order. The two judges, andrew, different cases, different circumstances, and the new york case the material parts of it are largely settled at this point. And it seems like judge engoron has less reason to be on pins and needles on this one. Obviously tanya chutkan, this is very serious case, criminally, for donald trump, and she is under a microscope for each one of these decisions. Do you see it differently because of that . Do you think she is giving them a lot of leeway because of that . I think there are two different interests at stake. One interest is the prosecution said im concerned about donald trump essentially polluting the jury pool, and what he could say that would influence potential jurors. But judge chutkan and judge engoron i really focusing on very different issue, which is the integrity of the system in terms of witnesses not being threatened. Participants in the system not being threatened. It has much more to do with violence and what could happen to those people. And that doesnt matter whether its a civil case or criminal case. Its also why, for instance, judge kaplan in the e. Jean carroll case, took steps to protect the jury. That also is a civil case. But remarkably, what were talking about is judges in cases involving the former leader of the free world and people being concerned about his using rhetoric that can result in violence to people who are just doing their job. And that is what you are seeing the judicial system trying to deal with with the former president. So this is an important distinction. In new york the judge is worried about safety and harm that comes to people. In georgia, it is something as well to do with, im sorry, in d. C. And has something to do with the jury pool. The donald trump team, barbara, has filed a motion opposing jack smiths request to protect juror identity, saying President Trump expressly does not agree to a juror anonymity and i think this response should be construed as consent to such extraordinary measures. Additionally President Trump objects to any objection that the jury faces a risk of harm due to their participation in President Trumps trial. What do you make of that . Yeah, i think you are anonymity is an absolute nobrainer in this case. If youre in a dependent, i suppose, it will send an asked adverse message about you, that the jury needs to be anonymous, but the real concern is, Trump Supporters out there, just as we saw in georgia, when the names of the grand jurors who indicted that case, we reveal to the public, they got all kinds of harassment and threats. The same kind of thing would very likely befall the people serving on the jury. When people answer the call to jury duty, they should not have to worry about harassment or threats. And might be difficult to see the jury if people are worried about the safety of themselves or their families. I think for that reason it is very likely, in my view, that the jury in that case will be anonymous. Im so grateful to the tune of. You i get so much smarter by asking you these questions. Thanks again for providing your expertise and your amazing analysis. Andrew weissmann, barbara mcquade, thank you. And tonights last word is next. Remember the things you loved. Join me at 10 am eastern for my show, velshi. Abe hosting conversation about what we as a News Organization are doing to fight the fog of war. Well pull back the curtain and show you the process we go through to vet news and information before its reported on air. Ill be joined by the head of our social newsgathering team, was gonna walk us through the process, which includes a combination of modern tech tools and oldfashioned reporting. Its much more complicated than you might might imagine. Thats tomorrow morning at 10 am eastern on velshi. Thats tonights last word. The 11th hour with my friend Stephanie Ruhle begins right now. They were just all around me and they were going three by three and shooting. Its really a living hell. Bodies all over the place. Everyone of us know someone who has been taken in captivity. She was saying mommy, we are trying to get out of here, but we were shocked, everybody here was shocked. And she said mommy, im afraid that we will die and this is the Worst Nightmare for every mother in the world. We are in hell right now. We want to live without the fear of terrorist crossing our border. Every hour theres news of people being killed in their homes and dying. On top of us. There are lots of, Children Variant children whose bodies were laying on the floor. We are expecting that at any minute. Were expecting that the whole gaza strip will be released at any minute. So im like, should evacuate now or should i just wait for my death in my own house . It is a huge big cage that we are trapped inside and there is nowhere else to go. Good evening once again. Im Stephanie Ruhle. It is not been 14 days since the horrific Act Of Terror by hamas. It wore that started all kinds of discussions about geopolitics and borders. But more than anything this worries about people. Civilians and human lives. So many families are forever changed and so this hour we are going to focus on the human total of all of those. The Rescue Efforts and the survivors and those who stories are at the center of this war. That includes the story of freedom. Freedom for two women who are capturing the Terror Attacks. Two woman we spoke about right here last night. Just hours ago, those women were the first hostages released. American israelis, Judith Raanan and her 17yearold daughter natalie, they were in israel visiting now leads grandmother for her 85th birthday when they were kidnapped by Hamas On October 7th. Natalies father very emotionally reacted to the release earlier this evening. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. For two weeks. I havent been sleeping for two weeks. Tonight i am going to sleep good. I spoke with my daughter earlier today, and she sounds very good, she looks very good. She was very happy. And she is waiting to come home. Im going to hug her and kiss her and its going to be the best day of my life. Mother and daughter are now in the care of the Israeli Military. President biden spoke to them on the phone earlier tonight, and the u. S. Embassy in jerusalem posted this photo of judith and natalie on that call. [inaudible] the story hits home for all of us, especially here at nbc, because last night we found out they are also Family Members of longtime former nbc Foreign Correspondent martin fletcher. Hes heres what he told us 24 hours ago. I just found out today the two of my wifes family are among the hostages. I am so sorry. So this is a very personal. , a very personal thing. And by the way they are americans. Natalie, im sorry for bringing this on you, natalie and Judith Raanan, they are from evanston, illinois. Filled with relief, gratitude, and some joy, earlier tonight martin talked about their release with my colleague tom giannis. The family is celebrating obviously because they fear there would be physical damage. But ive got to say one thing, family celebrating. I know this sounds incredible. Theres another Family Member whos also in gaza, to. One Family Member was buried today, killed in the same attack, and another one is still a hostage. All the same family . All the same family. And this is the story of the families in that part of southern israel. Because it was a certain group, kind of people who went to live there in the first place. The story of natalie and judith is just one of so many were going to highlight tonight. That includes death of 28 yearold natalie an american who was at the Music Festival when terrorists took over and killed 260 people. She escaped with her life. Here is what she saw, when she heard, and what she went through two long weeks ago. Natalie, we are so grateful that you are sharing your story. It has been almost two weeks. How are you doing . Its honestly shocking to hear you say that. And same time it feels like its been a day and also feels like its been months. Time, honestly, blurs so much after youve been through Something Like this in each day steering situation seeing the situation get worse but also get better in some cases, there have been cases of people that they thought were dead the turns out they are still alive, which gives us some hope. How am i doing . Im happy to be alive. But im praying every day for all the hostages. You are the portrait of hope for so many families of hostages, praying that their daughters, their sisters, their nieces, could be freed like you. What happened to that day . I went to this festival with a few friends. I was actually resting in our campsite when the rockets first started coming. A lot of the kids that were dancing at that time, they thought that the boom was part of the music, or that it was fireworks or something to do with the festival. I was woken up by a friend who came to alert me of what was happening, the rockets were sent our way. The way she reacted to what was happening, as an israeli citizen, i was one of the only americans in my group that was there. She came up to me to tell, me a few rockets were sent our way, but its fine. This is something normal for the area that we are in. Not for a girl from long island. Definitely not for me. But for israeli kids and israeli citizens, it was a reality for them. Its something they were used. Two theyve grown up hiding in bomb shelters. What happened . They said oh dont worry, and then what happened . We kind of just stood there. I stood there in shock and we waited to see if it would stop and as time went on one rocket after the other just sent our way. The Festival Security had shut off the music and asked everyone to please evacuate to their cars. We all went to our cameras and it is point we had no idea the terrorists where they are on foot with guns. I had asked my friends if i could go use the bathroom before we head to the car, before we leave. I figured will be a few hours until we get out. As you can imagine, its thousands of kids trying to get out of this festival on the same dirt road. There would be traffic. And when to use the bathroom before we left. And a few days ago i saw a Video Surface of the terrorists coming to those exact bathroom stalls, just shooting at all of, them trying to kill anyone who is inside. Since the festival happened, of all the videos that i have seen that surface, this was one of the ones that hit me the hardest. Knowing that i was there moments before, and that if i was there moments later, that i might not be here today. What happened next . We went to those restrooms, and then you didnt get to the car. We do get into the care. The Festival Security asked everyone to go down The Dirt Road. I like to point out that they did their best to get everyone out safely, and most of them die doing their job. We started driving, and eventually the security asked us to pull over to the side of The Dirt Road and get out of our cars and iran. We couldnt understand why they would ask us to do such a thing. You hadnt seen anyone on the ground. You hadnt seen any guns . Not yet. At this point we only heard the rockets. As soon as we pulled our car over to the side of the road, thats when we heard the first gunshots. And as soon as we heard the first gunshots, we just opened our doors and started running. Kids were running in every direction. Nobody knew what direction was the direction to safety. They really was no direction to safety. One of the most terrifying things was running in a specific direction, thinking that youre running to safety, and then seeing dozens of other kids running in your direction, and realizing that theyre running from terrorists, theyre running from gunshots. And having to make a Split Second Decision on where to go next, and every decision you made was a decision that either save your life or got you killed. Are you spending a lot of time thinking about that . If you turn right, not last . And future looked forward not backwards . There was one specific decision that we made. We passed by a ditch, filled with a number of other kids, and they told us to get in this ditch with them and hide from the terrorists. We almost did. Until one of my friends said, no, this is a bad idea. If we hide in this ditch and they come from above us, we have Nowhere To Run. We are done for. Because of him, we kept running, and we later found out that the kids who stayed and hit in the ditch were shot and killed. Its just so hard to think about the fact that every little decision we made it up saving our lives. But it couldve turned out so differently. Have you slapped since then . Its hard because you feel the certain mount of guilt as well. Even though you got out and you were, quote unquote, safe now. You feel a certain amount of guilt. Why me . Why not them . Indefinitely keeps you up at night. How long were you running for . We ran for about four hours. Straight . On and off. When we didnt hear gunshots for a few minutes we would catch our breath. Try to imagine, we are running in the sun. We have no water. Are you around . Or not at all. A lot of, some of the Festival Goers ended up staying in their cars, and a lot of them were picking up girls that were still running, and a you had offered me a ride, but i stayed with my group. I felt more safe being with people that i knew personally. I just kept running with them and trying to keep up with them. What were you wearing . Were you dressed, im just trying to picture this . Not at all, i was dressed for a festival. I was dress to dance. I was not dressed for this at all. And for four straight hours, youre running . And then what happened . Eventually along the way we ran into a police officer. He gave us directions. He told us run in the direction of the sun, because in that direction there was a town, the town of pettycash, that was the closest town to get to safety. We kept running in that direction, and in about four hours we passed by a small tree and we decided to sit down under the tree and catch our breath for a moment. What conversation did you have one another during that time . We were all just sitting and looking at each other at this point. We dont know if to give up hope or to keep going. While we were sitting under that tree, a big white Pick Up Truck started driving in our direction. Our automatic reaction was this is terrorists coming to kill us. And i just remember looking around of the kids sitting next to me, and we are kind of have got up for a second and thought to run for our lives, and then we all looked at each other and kind of realized, if this is a terrorist, thats it, we have Nowhere To Run to. Where are we gonna go . And we kind of just all sat down and accepted our faith, that this is a terrorist, then this is the end. Thankfully, lucky for us, it wasnt a terrorist. It was a man from the town who had left the safety of his town and driven towards all of this to save innocent lives. A white. Of a white governor white Pick Up Truck. I dont even know his name. I never even got to thank him. We all hopped in the back of his truck. He drove us to his town, and as soon as we got out, he turned right around and risked his life all over again to save more lives. How long before you are able to get home, to talk to your family . It was a few hours that we were in that town. While were in that town they had us go to the bomb shelter. There were people from that town reading off lists of names that they were receiving from parents who knew that their kids were at this festival, kids that werent answering, kids that might have been killed already or kidnapped. And they were just reading of lists of names in the hope that one of their kids was there in the bomb shelter. When you are coming home to the u. S. , im sure you could not wait to see your family. But did part of you want to stay . I mean, such a traumatic experience that probably also held you there in some way. Theres a big amount of guilt that comes along with leaving israel at a time like that. I remember someone told me they had a conversation with a travel agent, and they told her, you must be so busy, booking flights out of israel. And she said yeah, i am, but even more busy booking flights into israel. That just shows how resilient our country is and how much they come together when we need each other. I have friends who survived this festival who escaped death, who have no realistic in the army to protect their country. Being here, a lot of people asked me if i feel safer now that im here, now that im back in new york. I cant say that i necessarily feel safer. With all the protests i see happening, not just in the u. S. But in europe as well, i think most jews would say they dont feel very safe right now. Are you shocked by the protests . Yes. I am shocked by the misinformation. I am shocked at the fact that people think that this is an issue of israel versus palestine. This isnt an issue of israel versus palestine. This is an issue of israel versus hamas, a Terrorist Organization, who is just as complicit in the death of innocent palestinians as it is in the death of innocent israelis. Once people realize that we have the same enemy, that this is a Terrorist Organization and we come together, we have a higher chance of defeating them. Before you are here in new york, where you are in Washington Meadows government officials, you met with several gentlemen. What is your message to lawmakers . What do you want them to do . My message to lawmakers is that israel needs their backing right now. They need their support. They need americas help in defending themselves. The fact that we are fighting a Terrorist Organization right now, its on israels soil, but it can just as easily be on Americas Soil tomorrow. Thats what people need to understand. Thank you so much for sharing your story, for being here with us. We are blessed that youre alive. Thank you. For having me. Thank you. Natalie is blessed to be home safe. My next guest is still in the region every day trying to save lives. He is Chief Of Staff of the National Paramedic service in israel. You and i spoke just a few days after the first attacks. October 9th, when many people were looking at that Music Festival attacking comparing it to september 11th. You said it was nothing like 9 11 because it was like the attacks were happening and happening. Your own paramedics were being shot at. People were trying to steal their ambulances. What has it been like since then . It is two weeks now. Well, since then we are fully prepared for anything to come. We still, we keep learning about how our people behave like heroes that day and we just heard about Making Decisions and a split second people were decided to go and risk themselves in order to help others. And at the same time, we look at the northern border, and hezbollah, trying to drag israel to war, to more violence, risking of innocent civilians. And for those people to protect their lives. So its very tense in israel. And this uncertainty of the last couple of weeks is something that puts a lot of israelis under attention, both in terms of security, both in terms of emotionally, on clearance and this is what we have to deal with right now. What has it been like for you and the other rescue teams . We know, on the other side, we know in gaza city, even before the explosion in the hospital there were not enough hospital beds. Not enough doctors. What is it like in israel . How has your work been . What we are doing this time, we prepare our equipment. We understand that a full scale war will require a lot more medical equipment, many more ambulances. I spoke about the uncertainty of the list. This is the time to be prepared. What we are doing this time, we prepare our equipment. We understand that a full scale war will require a lot more medical equipment, many more ambulances. I spoke about the uncertainty of the list. This is the time to be prepared. To go over all the operational parts. To enhance the coordination. With the army, with the police, with the fire department. But at the end of the day, we all hope that this will end very soon. But if not, again, we have to make sure that we are prepared. We cannot go back to october 7th, we are so many people didnt know what is happening, didnt know what is happening with their relatives, we are besieged and not able to receive this so important medical help they need. And we are preparing. While hoping that everything will and very soon. Uri, thank you for everything youre doing, and thank you for being here tonight. Thank you so much. We really hope that things will go back to normal life. Nevertheless, were there for people, if needed we will be there for them. Thank you so much. The hamas attacks devastated so many close knit Thriving Communities along the israel gaza border. The families who survived and will now never forget the hours of unimaginable violence carried out in places that they called home. My colleague kelly cobiella. She spoke to families in the beeri kibbutz about what they witnessed. Anthonys family hid for hours in their safe room, reading about the horrors on their phones. Leaving the father of three considering the unthinkable. And one point i thought i was gonna have to kill my kids. She and her teenage daughters came face to face with the terrorists. And we just said to them, please dont kill us. Please, we didnt do nothing. Dont kill us. They spared her and her daughters, but took her husband and daughters boyfriend. So much sadness. Too much, but nobodys crying. Its no contact between my heart and my mind. Kelly joins us now. Kelly, first, i want to start by thanking you. I think about how hard it is sitting here in the safety of new york covering this tragedy and it is hard on us. You are there, and you have seen firsthand these faces of war, the children, the families, people whose lives have been torn apart and turned around for the last 13 days. Tell us what it has been like . It has been hard. You have to have a very cold heart to not feel for these people that you meet every single day. I just remember the very first family or one of the first families that we met, the parents of two sisters both in their twenties, and when we met them, their daughters were missing. They didnt know if they had been kidnapped or killed. We walked into their home, into their apartment. They didnt know us. They trusted us with their family story. And as soon as we walked and they just hugged us. These are people that i had never met before. We just hugged and held tightly. The girls father just sobbing, and its that kind of raw emotion, that deep deep grief that has really stuck with us throughout our reporting here. Not just with that family, it is happened with lots of families we have met. Just that the aid for comfort, for them to get some comfort from anyone, from a stranger, who they are sharing their story with. That is one of the real moments that has really stuck with, with our team. We havent gone into a house where we havent brought note the tissues. They have been a lot of tears. You try to stay neutral and keep control your emotions, but its an incredibly tragic, difficult story. Emotions are just so raw. It is, quite frankly, hard to maintain that neutrality, that mask that we try to put on, just so that we can report the stories as accurately as possible. It has been a tough one. And i just want to say, not just for the families of those kidnapped missing and killed, but also for people across the society, and we talked with funeral director. He finally knows what ptsd is because he has performed so many funerals. He has dealt with so many victims bodies, that he cant get this mail off of his hands. He said he talks to people, they tell him, they cant smell anything, but he says he knows its in his head, and he just cant get rid of it. Its a very very deep wound and its across society here. You covered, unfortunately, many different war zones and conflicts. But has the last two weeks been very different . Because there are so many people and they dont even know if their Family Members are dead or alive because of all the uncertainty around the hostage situation. Yeah, it has been different. Its sort of, like, its an ongoing nightmare. And some of the people we have spoken to describe it like that, they wait up in the morning and they think that it didnt happen, that its not real, and then they realized, oh yeah, my Family Members are missing and maybe they are held captive, but maybe their bodies just havent been identified yet. We were at a funeral yesterday for a 23 year old man, and it took authorities 12 days to identify his body and return him to his family for a burial. And its just because of the vastness, because there are so many victims. Of course ive covered other disasters. Ive covered earthquakes, where it takes a very long time to pull victims from the rubble, where you have grieving families. But in a lot of those cases, first of, all they are natural disasters. In some way its easier to grasp. This one has been very difficult for the victims to really grasp, but to get in touch with. We interviewed one woman from kibbutz beeri, her husband was kidnapped along with her daughters boyfriend, and she told us, and i think you saw it in that piece, she said, i feel like my head is disconnected from my heart. And its like, again, these people are living this nightmare every single day, and its almost a protection mechanism. They cant allow themselves to believe what is has actually happened. Steph, its an ongoing nightmare for a lot of people here. I can tell you, we are grateful for you, that you are they, are telling these stories, because it is essential for people on my side of the world to know what is going on and to care about it. Kelly, thank you so much. Coming up, a sliver of hope for the hamas hostages after Two Americans are freed. And the red cross is helping to get them home safe amid a across the entire and later we hear from heroes on the ground, from journalists and volunteers. They were escorted over the israeli by the red cross but hundreds of other hostages remain in hamas custody, and the humanitarian crisis across the entire region is only getting worse. Joining me now, more in the director of operations for the International Committee of the red cross. Martin, i want to talk about thanking you for all that you are doing. Help us understand how urgent the situation in gaza is right now. Thank you very much for having me. The humanitarian crisis that we have seen unfold last day and israel is devastating. There are too many people killed, injured, taken away, now have been forced to leave their homes, and many of them had been forced to sleep in the open. There is few food and water. This year, its been dire and becoming worse every hour that goes by. The rhetoric around this war is so heated, what do you want the world to know about the everyday people who are literally caught in the cross fire . Indeed, there is a lot of rhetoric. We need to focus on the Human Suffering that the Armed Conflict generates for many civilians, children, mothers, daughters, that are impacted, deeply impacted by the devastation every day. They should not be the center of this conflict. They should be protected, their rights should be protected, and a call on all sides to respect their obligations under International Humanitarian law to protect any civilian from harm. I know your organization is also trying to gain access to hostages held by hamas. What are you trying to accomplish . Do you think that you can help they should be protected, their rights should be protected, and a call on all sides to respect their obligations under International Humanitarian law to protect any civilian from harm. I know your organization is also trying to gain access to hostages held by hamas. What are you trying to accomplish . Do you think that you can help with their release . What is interesting are three things in particular. All the hostages should be released. Barr into, were working to get access to them to check on their situation, insisting that they receive from what they need, either medication or other things. Also, that they are allowed to communicate with their families to send a message to their family, were in contact with the families, and we hear from them. Not knowing what will happen to their loved ones. Even if you do get humanitarian relief into gaza over the next few days, what do you think the long term effects could be like . People have lost everything, and israel as not even invaded yet. Its really hard to protect now the long term effects of what is happening these days. What is clear is that the Human Suffering already the Emergency Needs are huge right now. You need to get more help to people, who are suffering every day and our. At the same time, we also know that much of the essential infrastructure is deeply affected, it will take a lot of time, but beyond the essential services, beyond water and electricity, it is also the scars for many families who might have lost a loved one that will take years to hugh. More in, you and your team responded to crises around the world helping the most Vulnerable People in some of the worst situations. How do you stay hopeful, especially at a moment like this, when it feels like things are only going to get worse . If you work for the International Committee of the red cross, by definition, you need to focus on what you can do for people. Each time we are able to realize a child that lost their parents, each time were able to bring information who have been detained to their family, each time we can improve the access to water, to health, we also see that there is some there is not only despair but also hope that you can help, even in the most dire situations. Martin, thank you for everything that you are doing. We are sending you love and prayers and get stuck in the days ahead. Thank you so much. At least 260 people were killed at a Music Festival on october 7th, miles from the gaza border. Joining me now, a journalist and a hero, and israeli radio journalists, ramy, who drove his personal car to the Nova Festival and evacuated dirty Festival Goers while courting all of it on the air. I am so honored that you are here tonight. Your work, what you did as a professional and a person, extraordinary. Have you spoken to any at the people that you have had help since . First of all, thank you, stephanie, for your coverage. For many of us, being able to share our stories. If you know, i said at this exact time two weeks ago, i tracked who were living there. At this hour, we started hearing gunfire, so they began to shoot in israel. We also heard a lot from nearby the cyclists quickly come inside the tunnel beside the road. I move my car, because i understand that the tariffs are exactly nearby, and they can shoot the cyclists. After about 20 minutes, i go back to the place where we started. I started to do my job as a journalist, first with a lot of security. With the ambulance, so i go with them. After about five kilometers, i saw a small group of cars, a couple of people there wounded very hard. I helped them. This was the first time that they could not move a woman to my car, because she was wounded hard and the stomach. I tried to go to bring them help but i did not succeed because of the people, israeli red cross, could not go because it is under Drive Gunfire in the area. I tried to help the people who are wounded. I helped the im got to go to this place, the safety place. In the meantime, i saw a couple of young people behind the train. I go back there, remind you it was all under fire. Everybody was shooting, the police, the army there were helicopters that she also with the people to look for the terrace. And i go from the tree. There are a lot of people in front of us, 150 meters thick so, but a group of armed terrorists, we quickly lived this area but bring them to the safety place and hoping to bring some other people, stephanie. Since then, what has it been like for you. Every day, are you reliving that im or, in touch with any of those people . When they saw me interview, one of the young people called the journalists in israel. He arrived here and said that this nightmare take us to a safety place. Since then, it all started to move on. People said i have to show myself, so my daughter put in facebook. From there, everything start only sent their parents. They were going to the army. We are in touch. I hope we find all of them because my fiancee want to make a big meeting after the war. How beautiful, ramy, thank you for your work, thank you for your reporting, thank you for saving those lives. Sheer dinner, shes working on the ground and is your with one heart, a nationwide network of volunteers during national emergencies. Thank you for your work. I want to start with the conditions on the ground right now. What are you seeing . Hello, we are activating right now over 25,000 volunteers all over israel, if you are. We see everything. They are helping populations that were evacuated from their homes. For babysitting kids that their parents want to fight. They are even organizing weddings for soldiers and people who have been evacuated from their homes. We see hundreds of thousands of people that were displaced from their home, need to cope with the new reality of displacement, so we see mass places with whole communities who have had to start their lives from the beginning. We see difficult medical conditions in the hospital, soldiers sorry, i could not hear you for a moment. I know youre in israel. We have been trying to speak to doctors and volunteers in gaza for the last two weeks, but they had bad internet connection. I want to ask you about efforts inside gaza city. We know what happened with the horrific hospital explosion but before then, there were not enough beds to help all the people who needed them. What do you know about the situation there . We are focusing on helping the community and National Resilience in israel. We are not dealing with the military aid and support, so we know what is happening here. We know that humanitarian aid was sent from israel before the war and even now, a few days ago. We are focusing our efforts on the National Resilience development and site of zero, our initial and people of israel on the home front. We saw videos of groups of children with special needs who have been displaced that you are helping. Are you now trying to build or create new facilities because entire communities have been displaced . Exactly, that is what we are trying to do. Right now, were providing educational system, temporal system and centers for the kids that have been displaced from their homes, right now living in remote places that have no structure of education after everything they have been through. We are providing them a solution for Mental Health, for Education System and even for logistics and the humanitarian and welfare help with equipment and living and everything that they need every word that they are. What do you need most right now . We know that there are humanitarian aid efforts underway, but there are still so many areas, so many people that need support. Right now, theyre in need for medical supplies, search, need help in medical aid, medical supply, constant dedicated to this purpose. We need our hospitals to be ready for everything, we are preparing ourselves for a big hit. We are trying to protect by developing the resilience and sense of security that was damaged in a way that we probably will have to try to fix for years from now. We need funds to enable kids to go back to life, to enable people to go back to homes and feel safe and provide their medical needs, provide our teams on the ground the ability to treat everything that they see, either in the military or in the civil hospitals. Any support will help. We just order from around the world. I want to thank you for the opportunity to tell our story and show the world what we are going through. Doctor, thank you so much for being here, as you await, as you said, a big hit. It could be any day now, the invasion of gaza could happen, and people are bracing for what comes next. Thank you for being here. For you awesome, thank you for watching. The stories of human lives are the stories that matter most, so many people, their communities changed forever. And this war, sadly, has just begun. We will keep telling their stories and be thinking about all the innocent victims and their families across israel and gaza. Well be thinking about them tonight and throughout the weekend. Please be safe. On that note, i wish you all a good night.
