JTIP News:
SANTA FE — The Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) Board approved funding for eight businesses in support of a total of 87 employees in December, (71 trainees and 17 interns), Economic Development Department Cabinet Secretary Alicia J. Keyes announced Monday.
Each month the board convenes in order to review applications from businesses all over New Mexico who wish to get funding in order to help train new employees or up-skill current ones. JTIP funding encourages businesses to continue to move to or expand business in the state and continue growing jobs for New Mexicans.
