New York seeks input on Danskammer permits

The thrust of the project is to revamp and expand Danskammer's existing natural gas-fired peaker plant on River Road, just off the Hudson River.

What we know
DEC has opened a public comment period for Danskammer's federal draft air permit.
The state has invited written public comments on the federal Title V draft air permit application until Aug. 29. Comments can be emailed to DanskammerEnergy@dec.ny.gov or mailed to New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Environmental Permits, Bureau of Energy Project Management, Attention: Michael Higgins, 625 Broadway, Albany, NY 12233-1750.
