Organic PV module with 12.36% efficiency
Chinese researchers have taken a quaternary approach to fabricate a module with an area of 19.34 cm2, a geometrical filling factor of 95.5%, and an efficiency of 12.36%.Researchers from Zhejiang University in China have fabricated an organic solar module with a certified efficiency of 12.36%. The panel was built by connecting seven solar cells in series with an efficiency of 16.71%. Laser-based P1, P2, and P3 scribes were used to connect the anode of a cell to the cathode of the subsequent cell.
