'Downtown' Dan: How community members and services help those experiencing homelessness | The Housing Crisis

Dan Doty, known as “Downtown Dan,” experienced homelessness in the Rogue Valley for 32 years. But for a little more than a year, he’s been living in permanent federal housing in South Medford. Ahead of his 65th birthday in June, Doty says overcoming homelessness requires one to ask for help.
