Packed cinemas wowed by Cork actor Cillian Murphy's performance in Oppenheimer

It’s the first time I’ve seen a packed cinema for a long time, from even before the pandemic. And for many who streamed into the Killarney picture house on Friday for Oppenheimer, starring Cork’s own Cillian Murphy in the title role, the three hour epic about the ‘father of atomic bomb’ was the second of a double bill on the same day as they had gone to see Barbie first.
