PKU researchers observes localized phonon modes at a heterointerface

Peking  : Phonons – the quasiparticle describing lattice vibrations in solids – directly dictates various properties of solid state systems, such as the thermal conductivity, electron mobility, structural stability and conventional superconductivity.
