Plano police say two people killed in separate driving while intoxicated crashes
One suspect faces two felony charges.
Plano Police recently investigated two suspected instances of drunken driving that left two people dead.
Police were called to the intersection of West Plano Parkway and Dallas Parkway on Sunday, May 30, where a driver allegedly ran a red light and hit another vehicle, according to a post by police on Facebook. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but did not survive, police said.
Kenneth R. Esaw, 33, is being held in Collin County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, both second degree felonies. Bail is set at $150,000 on each charge, for a total of $300,000.
