All eateries and restaurants with a seating capacity of 36 and above,
hotels with 20 rooms or 1,000 square feet of banquet hall will soon come under the radar of the Karnataka State
Pollution Control Board (KSPCB). Following a direction from the National Green Tribunal, the
KSPCB has come up with
new guidelines for these establishments with regard to solid waste management, ground water consumption, parking and facility to treat used-water.
