Prisons vulnerable to natural disasters, but

A study of prisons, jails, juvenile detention centers and immigration facilities in Colorado found that three-quarters are at medium-to-high risk of climate-related disasters, and Black and Latino individuals are at even greater risk of experiencing extreme heat or flooding while incarcerated.
