Remembering the life of Edie Fishman, dedicated fighter for peace, equality, and justice

Edyth Bartman Fishman was born July 22, 1921, in Philadelphia, Penn., the daughter of immigrants from Odessa in Czarist Russia. A lifelong fighter for peace, equality, and social justice, she died Feb. 21, 2024. Growing up in the years of the Great Depression shaped her worldview.
