Rotary hosts talk next week on Sacramento Zoo
FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield Suisun Rotary Club invites the public to come with them Tuesday on a virtual visit to the Sacramento Zoo.
The visit begins at noon and will take place via the Zoom teleconference platform and will feature the zoo’s director, Jason Jacobs, who will talk about the zoo’s features and its planned relocation.
Highlights of Jacobs’ career include a year at Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom, deputy director at the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, Indiana, director of development and marketing at the Los Angeles Zoo and director of the Reid Park Zoo. He joined the Sacramento Zoo in January 2018.
