Chef Johnny Hernandez feels his iconic River Walk eatery is ready for a new concept amid changes at the Pearl.
Hernandez met with Pearl representatives recently to discuss plans to transform La Gloria at the Pearl into a new restaurant featuring South American dishes, the San Antonio Business Journal reports.
"We think it's time to create a new brand — create a new concept. One that is as impactful and as new and exciting as La Gloria was 12 years ago," Hernandez tells the Business Journal.
