These opportunities include the care and interpretation of 13 historic sites, including the Maritime and Irish Mossing Museum. The Society oversees a research and genealogical library and collections archives that serves the community and researchers nationwide. In addition, the Society runs lecture series and special town events, provides extensive field trips and programs for hundreds of school children each year.
