STAFFORD - The township school board has decided not to renew the contract of a school nurse who stopped wearing a face mask to work and who remains suspended without pay, according to the nurse, Erin Pein.
Pein said she was notified by Superintendent George Chidiac through an email following Monday night's school board meeting. Chidiac did not immediately return messages.
Her protest centered around what she called the ineffectiveness of face masks in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and their harm to children.
