TCHD needs more space, director tells board of health

The Teton County Board of Health, meeting Dec. 16 via video conferencing software, discussed the space needs of the Teton County Health Department, which has outgrown its office located on the Benefis Teton Medical Center campus in Choteau.
The board also discussed the health department’s pandemic response and when COVID-19 vaccines are likely to arrive in the county.
Health Department Director Melissa Moyer said she has spoken with the county commissioners about the need for more space, and the county has accommodated her needs by providing part-time office space in the county courthouse for the department’s chronic disease program manager.
