Tech problems fixed that shut down two MVC agencies, one other will close this weekend

Two state Motor Vehicle Commission agencies that closed Wednesday morning have reopened to customers this afternoon, after a tech problem was fixed.
The Flemington Licensing Center and Newton Vehicle Center were closed because a local Verizon network outage left those two agencies unable to process transactions.
“Flemington Licensing Center and Newton Vehicle Center have resumed full operations after Verizon resolved local outage issues,” said William Connolly, an MVC spokesman. “We intend to honor all appointments at Flemington and Newton. Those with appointments we can’t service today will get courtesy appointments for later in the week.”
