Texas man sentenced to prison for possession of homemade pipe bomb

HARRISON COUNTY, Texas (KSLA) - According to the U.S. District Attorneyâs Office, a Marshall, Texas man has been sentenced to prison for federal violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
Thomas Asa Harbarger, 57, pleaded guilty on Nov. 17, 2020, to possession of an unregistered destructive device. He was sentenced to 72 months in federal prison on Wednesday, April 14, by U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap.
