He writes frequently on race, politics, Current Events and cultural issues and is passionate about Solutions Rather than political partisan bickering. Its my pleasure to introduce charles love. [applause] i apologize in advance because i speak a little fast. Is that better . ,seeing what was happening but not so concerned with it as mentioned i wrote three books but the first is starting with a collection of notes. My friends were talking a lot about politics and they hadnt done that before but what they were saying and like a history book it didnt make sense so i wrote the book called logic the truth about black sand of the Republican Party but it wasnt an endorsement of the Republican Party because i wasnt a republican at the time. You have liberal ideas and want to voted democrat because they align with your beliefs, you should do that that is what this country is about but i didnt understand why they had this bogeyman view like they were out to get you so to debunk some myths that they were sharing among themselves. Ing noticed the culture was shifting in a dramatic fashion. Nobody is talking about this the way it should be talked about so i said ive got a busy life like anybody else. If im going to do this i need to Say Something other people are not saying so i wrote my last book we want equality how the fight for equality gave way toe preference. We used to have legitimate flights into the best proof that things are better now is that people fight. I take the things they say and different approach i like many conservatives write about what the left does that i disagree with so they say this and this is wrong but i dont do it in attack mode. Beyond that i have a second argument where i say lets give them their argument so now you cantm debate me. We boths agree that. Its going to lead to a solution. Its that simple. So still in trouble because youre not doing anything, youre not focused on the solutions and dont talk about a solution. I was fortunate enough to write in the book and i was the odd manod out. Its important we all year politics is downstream from culture but we are only talking about the downstream so i just kept going about my business pushing on and it was fine until 2020. So now george floyd is killed and its an Election Year so everybody was doubling down and hereal i am. When i wrote that book i think i wrote it in 17 and it came out in 18. Thisis is going to shift from third to the left and its going to be incredibly toxic and about five or six years is what i thought. It just kind of accelerated so i got an opportunity i moved to new york w and i was like lets see what i do next. Sean thompson had the opportunity to sit in because he went to work from trump. A cigar in one hand and constitution and the other. It would be great. Thirteen weeks leading up to the election. Im building myou own idea and approach. People called in like why are you talking about this race thing. We got the blueprint from the Civil Rights Act or from the bible. I love my neighbor as i love myself. But the argument was that makes sense and its logical but youre not dealing with logic so if youre not talking about race and they are talking about race you lose the race conversation. All the years the democrat in the community telling them what they believe and let me tell you it isnt good and you are not there to defend yourself so i kept going along with the culture. The other piece because seeking Educational Excellence we work on education. So i had a lot of guests talking about how we fix the problems in education. Whether it is the country as a whole going behind the rest of the world. They all say School Choice and its not because im not an advocate. I am. But what youre missing is while you are in this fight and the other side you have winds in other places, youre going to win all over the country and look up and find out because this was two years ago what youre going to i find is those vouchers you get to go to these schools youre going to be dsending these disadvantaged ks to schools that are just as ba. They are cleaner and safer but teaching the same toxic ideology that you are trying to get themt out of and look at what we are doing today. And how i shouldnt say it because its rude, but i told you so. So now what. Writing about what was going on i wrote an article about whites who felt that they should speak for blacks and they were speaking in extreme matters. They think whatever they think something is in the system that needs to be changed but they were all absolute. They are wrong even if you think theres an issue so i wrote this article and i was upset at the time. This one went viral and they pickedap it up. Rush limbaugh will read it on the show so then i said okay what is missing and how do i address this so that is where it came from. I wanted to talk about what i call the Progressive Racism Movement and i always say dont put adjectives in front of the thing because you change it. This is kind of a play on that. I call it progressive because in my mind they do the same thing. Its from 1840 and said we must separate them. We say thats racist. The guy today says whites are inherently bad. The whiteness is being censored everywhere and we need to break that up and a separate and we need whites to admit that they are guilty and owned this guildd from 50 years ago so saying that they are genetically different as the other thing the other people were saying but its different because our intent is different. We are doing it from a good place. So okay its progressive racism. The two best examples would be the 1619 project. Blm i wrote about first and took the same approach. I write in the book about how t its a false premise. Are there issues, yes. Are we being hunted down, canre you prove it, yes. Are there black people in jail, yes because you complain about mass incarceration so i say how did they get there because if the Police Wanted to hunt down the black man the atheists would break the law yet somehow they end up in jail. Why arent they shot before they get there because no one is hunting them. If you want to fix the problem this is why its important because how you go about fixing the problem is dependent on how bad you think the problem is. If we think we have a problem its not taking over the whole country but it needs to be addressed and we can think and work on it but if you think the country is holy racist there is a difference between liberals and the far left and so liberals dont like republicans were most of the people in this room. However, they love free speech and they dont like the fact that they are being called racist right now but if you dont believe me go look up Brett Weinstein and belmar and look at the things that they are saying. The politics to them to change. Just i was on your side and now in todays left i am a racist. Eits a silly so we need to talk to them. Because the media isnt on our side we need more for the soldiers theres not enough of usus physically. If they start to speak about it it makes it easier because they can talk to an audience. What we can do is say if thats the case how do we solve it because the far left is saying to burn it down. You dont agree with that so why dont you join us in solving this and then we can argue about it she was after that, so thats what i do in the book from this standpoint i explained what they believe because people felt bad we are going to give them all this money and many people said this t is crazy look how much money they get. That is a harder fight about what we can do is go to the people who were giving them money and explain what they believe and say if you believe this after knowing what they believe and you still want to give them money by all means do it but i dont think they do. I dont think they know it would lead to dangerous neighborhoods and we dont mean to fund this is a euphemism but it allocates resources and social workers. Kind of hard to take those words out of context but most people dont known that because it isnt on the blm website. Finding out what they say but i couldnt find anything. So doing the research i found this article about a Group Getting 100 million over five years. It was this organization to this to create the black lead movement fund. I looked up all the a organizations. They are ready to give congress once they move far enough and they have a preamble like the constitution. Its all about the demands they have and its reparations for migrants, its gender focused. I think they, used a word theytr made up called hetero patriarchy. We stand behind and push to the front of the movement. Gender nonconforming precariously housed but its not about whether you agree with it or not you just have to ask is that Police Brutality because i thought that is what the movement was about. Its a simple so you say that to a liberal and they might be like its baby steps. We work on the rest later. Then the other piece is the 1619 project and this really bothers me. You know the crt movement. The only thing i say in the book is why i didnt write about crta the reason the conversation surrounding that was starting when i wrote the book but it doesnt matter because, and im not against that. Its not that i say dont have that argument. Theres different ways to attack a problem but the issue is if you notice the news you hear see ourin kids we are not teaching crt, you dont even know what it is and then you go nowhere. You cant do that with the 1619 project. No one is going to tell you they are not teaching it in schools. The project was written at the9 end of the summer in 2019 and by the fall of is 4500 schools. They are bragging about it. In my mind, technically im kind of a literal guy. Its worse because it says race is important so we cant ignore it so we have to bring it into the schoolss and talk about it and let the kids understand what its about. So we need to have that focus and amplify the voices. Disagree, agree, it doesnt matter. They say stuff like we want to teach the pedagogy so that means we needry to add culture to evey class. You want blocks to do better at math, teach them the way they learned which is the same as everybody else. Now contrast that to the 1619 project. The 1619 project was found to reimagine the founding of america framing it around when they were brought as slaves and what they say is slavery and antiblack racism is endemic to america but america couldnt have been founded and it is in the dna of america. If its in the dna of america why are we trying to change it, what good will it do if you tear down the y system when you rebud the system guess whats going to be in it, white racism because its still there and makes no sense. What it says is every problem we face in America Today can be directly linked to slavery. That is worse than what crt is pushing. In the book i write a chapter on every essay in the project and this is what they say. Because it is mostly true i have to be honest it is well written. They paint pictures. People love and learn from the stories. G if they are teaching this in school and go to 11th graders who dont know much becausern ts is their first learning and you teach them this they look it up and that part is true. Its going to make for angry disgruntled citizens who just hate the country but what they dont say for instance they talk about the founders and they say the founders owned slaves is that true in the book she corrected some of the inaccuracies. They talked about reconstruction but mentioned reuther to be his the Union General that wrote the two civil rights movements. There cannot be a positive and the project. Other issue, theres no positives in the 1619 project, not one thing. Nothing positive and the only slight positive then they killed him. Ht they did this and then they talk about a couple that had struggles but they dont mention jabooker t. Washington. Can you at least give me something and lastly there are no solutions so you have the essays whose cases at the Supreme Court and editor of the New York Times magazine n everybody writes these essays and nobody even offered a solution, nobody talkedke about many are in elected office and what they can do to help this suppose that racist system and we think we should be teaching this to kids . Its double and what i tried to approach in the book it is to simply say that things are not as bad as you paid them and if they are, youre not doing anything to make them better so i think its a great tool. I dont even read the words by the rebuttals to what they say. The explanation of why they shouldnt believe what they are saying. Thats the other thing as much m as we talk about the media and they are biased, theres another piece on tv especially you only get a small amount of time. More so on the right but even nancy pelosi because what happens is she will speak 11 minutes and they will play a 32nd clip. What i wanted to do is give you enough that you say im not taking it out of context. The research that they use and they write essays about weird things. Let me tell you some of these that are linked. If you ever been caught in a traffic jam . Thats segregation and slavery. If you dont have time to get oobehind the New York Times py walls and get the book, turn to the chapter and i will say they are right about this but they didnt mention capitalism and what i like about that they will say american capitalism. If you see them in interviews theres no way you can left the country and write the things you write. Its in their dna. I m hate to that country. What do you mean you love the country, that is horrible. So they talk about it is this marxist group. Before i open to questions, the best thing we have going for us is people are starting to wake up. The liberals have lost to the left and thats true but its kind of a bad and good being here for a radio station. The problem is coming and i talked to my friends and family. We all get caught in what we are working on whether it is abortion or education or criminal justice. Whats important to understand is 330 Million People, find out what is the most popular show on fox news, who is the most popular on msnbc. Go look up how many viewers they have. Ef find your most famous New York Times on the left or right or whomever. My point is we are so focused on this we are concerned but sometimes you have to take a step back. 330 Million People, my guest and i think im conservative, 200 million dont know whats kngoing on. They are just keeping up watching the real housewives and it goes across the socioeconomic levels and race. I always talk about my brother hes been on for years. My brother is a bluecollar worker didnt graduate, he has no kids in school. I told him some of this stuff and hes like what are you talking about. I go to work, get something to eat,. Watch a movie. Have you heard this, no. Hes the people we have to reach. But they are not in church anymore and so many churches are woke so we can do that. They are not watching the media so i can do as much as i can and itsnd an important message. But if i go on too many people so im trying to reach 303 Million People so you have to keep doing it. I always tell people talk to everyone. I dont think i mentioned a democrat at all. I mentioned trump once i an ancillary way so use that method but when you talk to liberals were random people, its just questions like i write in the book. Do you mean all of us were me. If thats the case how do you get to speak im just trying to understand. Is he saying trump is crazy for the people attacking trump. So lets say he says something antitrump but you still agree what do you think about that racism in the school or being the reason there was a robbery do you think trump had something to do with that. I created this little brand they will say come on but we cant just talk about the book. We want to talk about what happened as time went on. Im notha going to be a republii strategist. So i say what i believe and the way i believe it without talking about the democrats and republicans not that i dont have an opinion but its a cultural problem not a political problem. After the Police Officer was shot and killed we were talking about that. Thisis progressive mayor what do you think about her . Theres a lot of problems going on and issues, lets be fair they were shooting before and after. This is a cultural problem. All your friends and family nobody t won that argument. We dont talk about issues anymore. Ask your friends and family. Parents send me stuff for my organization. Do you think that a 12yearold should be asked their sexual preference and they are like no. Do you think an 8yearold should have a form toal fill out what they want to be called and then a box he can check to say do your parents know. 100 ofra my liberal friends say thats crazy. Heres the last thing im going to say. I talked to my friends that are liberal leaning. Most are on your side but i disagree with it. We had to go through some unfair craft. They agree with you but they are not going toto go fight with yo. From the race standpoint one thing is when i told him this. Why did you say anything, its not my fight. Lets talk about that relevant pedagogy and blacks can only learn math the way my friend from high school the other day hes like thats ridiculous so i told him about the music thing and they were saying get ridid f shakespeare, all this kind of stuff they want to take that away because they cant really learn culture unless they can re related to it. Its racist because youu all still get to read shakespeare. I just dont get to read it so your putting us atdo a deficit. What does equity mean versus e quality so if you approach it that way i think you will get more people on your side and then we can fight about it she was later. Have it if you have any questions, let me know. [applause] i wont answer that question. Any other questions. They didnt hear you. What about the ones in the front . You can all just get in line. The project that tried to come up to refute 1776 theres the nas that had a whole thing about it i have a friend writing a book about it. Nobodys talking about it because they are or giving crt but it would be interesting to hear what she says in this new tebook i do agree with you i thk there is a difference between the left and liberals. My point is i think we need to unite prolife liberals especially we need to get out there k and get the undecided ad independents. The left spreads lies. You say you ran against a white supremacist i assume junior high school, elementary. But anyway thank you very much for what youre doing. Were doing. I appreciate it. [applause] when you took a pass on that question about the crime in the communities you dont believe that they contribute to the violence happening. They had to pull them over for an expired plate but cant do that anymore. Those policies contribute to the violence and if you dont how do we help these communities . Im not saying i dont believe these. Im sure there are issues but a lot of that is fox. Im speaking to a national audience. Every state and city doesnt have the same policies. A person like new york, i wrote an article about eliminating qualified immunity. On i wrote about it openly. Change is not always the solution. They cant serve and protect if ngthey cant stop criminals. Part of the problem because it makes it easier to get back on the street soo they dont get arrested at all. I have a personal story about that we dont necessarily condone it we talk about snitches getting stitches thats far worse than any policy and we areit allowing it to happen. I know i missed out on a lot of good stuff. Ea i want to know what are they teaching because they were tearing down or defacing. They are not teaching cursive. Okay thats fine. I dont know if this is true and maybe some ofey the parents can speak out they are not teaching civics. Now im 70yearsold but when i was in eighth grade i couldnt graduate unless i passed civics. What they are making available to some there are books in the grlibrary, pornography and the last thing i want to say is i am not criticizing people that are transgender. I dont understand it and i dont think some of them understand it either but theres a guy on the radio one day thats a proponent. Lets make sure people have their rights. After all i have a transgender 3yearold and im like my gosh. Thats important. I like that you brought that up because i didnt get n the chance to mention that. I had to learn civics before i graduate. They are still teaching government but i partnered up the foundation and we are doing a civics initiative. Next week i will be in dc. They get prizes and a tour. What was the second piece . The problem with what they are teaching they are infusing culture and everything so we need to teach in a certain way but we know certain people are not learning at grade level anyway. You mentioned abraham lincoln. I will get to that but its funny because remember a year and a half ago, about a year ago they started removing books like we cant teach because of words that are in there that are divisive. They replace them with this so we couldnt say certain words t and this is like the crt argument. Show me a curriculum. Loan out any book you want. Itsik there and we know its there. But they are asking kids. Youve all heard the gabby clark story suing the federal government because her son [inaudible] she was talking about race and i asked my son to do this whatever. He was an oppressor or this, that or the other then they asked the sexual preference and i said to stop. That is the end of it. I dont want to hear anything from that woman i didnt have to hear the rest of her speech hi charles. First of all it was a great presentation one of the things that really struck me was that they cant learn shakespeare or Classical Music and i just want to tell you about a corporation that i know of where they are instituting Racial Equity programs and one of the officer said we need to give ourur black employees a box to stand on so they can see over the fence like the rest of us. Do you know what i said . Some he said where is it and i said hi andy hello to fill in the baseball game . [laughter] the reality is they are leaving out some of the people. But there are 10000 people in the stadium are they people to . Of focusing on these three t is madness. My question is dont blacks find that insulting . It should be in a people. I dont like democrats but my option iss the devil and to be fair all they ever think about is the reverse i grew up in a majority of white tell my parents and say nothing about race positive or negative. So all the blacks on tv or playing drug addicts and temps if you watch the news it is black after blackld into prison thenti movies why when i think thats the condition of blacks on a normal basis . The reverse is true. If i dont know many white people who grew up in the black neighborhood and they are telling me how bad the republican is and you said no im not and heres what im really doing then it must be true. Networks unfortunately. Thank you. [applause] thank you. Hello charles. I am the republican precinct commander im sorry you blocked the Republican Party i am precinct 81 and has a lot of really pretty houses. And in front of some of these houses there are black lives matter science. And im asking d you this how do i reach those people . You dont theyve given you a sign. Dont talk to them. They are crazy. [laughter] you just wasted seven minutes talking to that guy. Now i know not waste my time with you. Talking to liberals and those who are politically agnostic. Will talk after but im here signing of the booksth you will buy. [laughter] the question or the issue that you should address panels it is addressed enough, it seems like the attack is on the white culture. The white evil culture. When i was a kid there would be a b millionaire and my mom would say you could be a millionaire if you did s not get off your lazy behind. Hold on. So he is successful, dont want to do what he is doing . Dont i want to have a family and get married and get a job and build cultural wealth . My ancestors came over smelling diesel oil. They cameui with nothing in a passed it on to their family. To mee that should be the issue. Those guys are successful. And then to say i wonder what he does i want to be successful and now who did he steal that t from . But is not just should be learn from thef rich guy but whatever you are assuming butnd if we fix the problem over 60 percent of the population should be att the table . Or the people that represent them so no one who has actually policed gets to talk. So when you come up with a crazy idea and might be the dumbest thing that never worked weve neverhe done it why . Because we didnt think about that so theyre not in the room to explain it. So cops are throwing marshmallows that people. Because we didnt know that marshmallows dont stop crime. [laughter] i just have a comment. Coming to the freedom some these are our two youngest in the front. We use to homeschool that we sent some of the kids to public a school. And it is important. At dinnertime three or four times a week to talk about what we believe politically and religiously. Our kids have told us and their teachers have said were so glad your kids are here in school because they are the only ones out of 30 students that speak up for the other sides im just here to make a comment so they can defend that they believe. You have to teach them as well. Thank you. [applause] i am the executive im honored to welcome you to tonights conversation between doctor Thomas Fisher and natalier more.
