Thanks everybody. That is it for this report. Fair balanced and unafraid. Chilly new Surveillance Video showing a terrorist in a deadly ram page in canada capital, the gunman with ties to jihad has visited the United States four times in recent years. He opened fire and attacked Prime Minister is calling terrorism. We are aware and deeply trouble that both of this weeks terrorist attacks were carried out by canadian citizens. The terrorist was planning to head to syria. Now 24 hours later Canadas Parliament returning to work paying tribute to hero the sergeantatarms who shot the terrorist dead. And for the latest, we are joined live from ottawa. Good evening. Tell me whats the news about this man who has been shot dead . This terrorist who has inflicted so much damage to your country. Safe to say hes a petty criminal, lots of run in with the law, but no one would say hes a terrorist. He was born to a libyan father and canadian mother. So did he go back to his former beliefs and was rad iicalized i that sense was a revert, if you
will, not a convert. I think essentially the portrait is worrying because he was not on the radar screen as a terrorist threat, although there was an email of his that showed up on a hard drive of a canadian citizen who left the country who was charged by authorities with leaving the country to commit a terrorist act abroad. Did he grow up in ottawa or another part of canada . Is he active in any mosque . He appears to be born in vancouver and lived in a number of different places including quebec. Several of his criminal record charges, he had eleven criminal charges in quebec area. He have had contact with the law
in terms of criminal act but didnt seem to be charge in calgary. He arrive in ottawa three weeks ago. The shocking thing is he lived in a homeless shelter here in ottawa. He buys a car on tuesday, apparently he came to ottawa because he had issues with his passport. He sought to renew his passport. His Mother Told Police he wanted to go to syria. They didnt know that. He wasnt on the radar screen. He buys a car on tuesday and wednesday morning parks it behind me at the National War Memorial and the tragic events unfolds as we know. Did he leave connection to terrorist groups or trierrorist organizations. It is really unclear at this point. Theres some suggestion that he was praying with other people at the mission. It is just not clear. There was a report out of vancouver we talked to a gentleman whose son knew him. It is really not clear if he was selfradicalized. If he was in contact with people who exerted influence on him. Some of those details are yet to emerge. Hes a huge puzzle for law enformsment here. Can you confirm hes had trips to the United States. I cant. It hasnt been confirmed today. He seems to be fairly itinerant, surprisingly his mother has a high position, deputy chair person of the refugee appeal board and she is utterly
dismayed. His intention to go to syria appears unknown to anybody until the Mother Told Police yesterday. So it is unclear at this point. Thank you very much. We all saw the terrifying video. [ gunfire ]. Dozens of shots rings out in parliament sending workers running for their lives. John was in the building during the attack, and he joins us from ottawa. Good evening sir. First our condolences to your country. You are losing a member of your military so our condoelencescon thank you very much i appreciate it. Sir, where were you when this happened. I was 50 meter as way from where the gunman was taken down. We could hear two rifle shots we werent sure what it was but when the semiautomatic echoed through the halls we all ducked for cover. We didnt know what was going on. We were pleased to learn the majority of gunfire was Security Forces taking the terrorist down. How long were you locked down . Six hours. They wanted to do everything they could to make sure everything was safe. Indeed. Do you have any more informing about this man tonight . Were hear he was a radicalized extremist. Certainly that fits the profile that is emerging from what happened. Obviously theres extensive investigation both from Law Enforcement and intelligence
officials to do all we can to keep canadian safe. Why do you think this has happened now twice to canada this week . Its hard to say. It could be just a fluke. Obviously terrorism is a great struggle in our generation. Its played out on the streets of new york, in london, in spain, obviously the people in iraq are paying a very heavy price. It sunfortunateunfortunately a the 20th century and why we have to stand strong against extremism. Have you heard from anyone from the United States. Sure we had a long chat with president and secretary kerr last night. Certainly appreciate their thoughts. What can we do. He is dead so he cant be prosecuted. Do you have any ideas how to
stop this before hand. How to prevent it. What will canada do perhaps give us guidance to what we should do. We were one of the First Nations to make it criminal offense to travel oversees to commit jihad. We had the first criminal conviction there. We obviously need to take passports away. Obviously government has one of its most fundamental responsibilities is to keep people safe and we obviously want to rise to that challenge. Do you see this as provoked what is going on in iraq, syria and with isis. Im not sure theres any direct correlation between them but we feel it is important do our part, to do the heavy lifting, thats why we accepted a combat mission in many iraq. You raised your terrorist
alert. What does that do for the people of canada ask them to be more vigilant sfla vigilant. It puts local intelligence and First Responders to be on high alert. The two losses this week are causes for great concern and were looking at what else needs to be done to take tangible actions to support public safety. When it was said in the last two months he was saying alarming things and likewise with terrorist in my country they have said things, the writing was on the wall, yet it isnt until they go in and kill somebody that people start looking to see what was this. Are we being too politically kraekt on correct on a lot of this. We have to look the the facts
and look at that issue going forward. Were obviously horrified by what happened and we have a responsible to keep people safe. I think personally the thing that is so troubling for me is when you have people on the internet, on their facebook, basically declaring war against our fundament alt way of life and our values it is obviously a deep concern for us and the average citizen wants us to step up efforts. What can we do. You can say some thins, you cant falsely yell fire in a crowded theater, but for the most part the internet is wide open and we have a profound to say things, even awful things. We will look at whatever measures might need to be taken to help combat radical extremism that we see in far to many
places of the world. Thank you so much for joining us, injury. Gre. Is isis planning an attack on the United States . There are new fears. Naturally people are on high alert and worried. They are. Theres been a new intelligence warning issued that tells them theres not been substantiated threats, but what they are saying is you need to limit your profile online, and strip out information that might attach you to fbi or any Law Enforcement agencies. This has been going on for some time. You reported about the threats on military families. What i want to know from our
government, they wont tell me, are there specific threats. Is it different today than five days zblago. It is definitely different than at the end of august. In august there was an incident with an air force family targeted online by isis. We have seen confidence building because they continue to make head way in iraq and syria despite the campaign and now were seeing it with Law Enforcement as well. They seem to be emboldens on line and now we have seen at least a handful of incidents that investigators believe are linked and hes had some sort of influence with syria because he was go to syria not hawaii. Well, this case in canada really is the worsecase
scenario because this is a guy who was a ghost on social media. He didnt have a big social media imprint so he is the ultimate case of a selfstarter. When you have someone like that doesnt matter what kind of surveillance you have, or you really want the government in your stuff because in this case it doesnt appear there wasnt much to read. Thank you. Your welcome. Brace yourself. Theres new warnings about possible attacks in the United States. What is our government doing . Peter king is on the homeland committee. He joins us. Good evening, sir. What are we doing, canada has been hit twice in last two days, what are we doing . The fbi, homeland security, cia, all of them are coordinating information, local police, also speaking with canadian authorities and all our
over seas as sets to head off what might be happening. We have been anticipating Something Like this. Since 9 11 weve been on our guard but since this war with isis were expecting attacks against any of the allied countries involved. Including the british. When it comes to isis they want to go to the military, the police, the national monuments, theyve been calling for this. Its not a secret. I dont think members of the military should feel safe because catherine report thered were threats against military families and if you take a bomb in some crowded place in this country, its not just the military or Law Enforcement who are people who are on alert. We dont want them hurt or killed either. There are a lot of people at risk with this. I dont want to scare anybody. Nobody should feel safe. Were at war with islamic terrorism and they want to attack as many people as they can. They focus on military because it gives more attention but they will kill anyone they can. A shopping center, a subway train, an airport, if they can attack it, they will do it. For the sake of symbolism they are talking about the military. But we should be protecting everything we can. The only way to really stop this is to go into the muslim communities to find out who is good, who is bad, whatever we need to do, what the nypds were doing for years until Associated Press and Civil Liberties unions stopped. We zbl is it because of specific threats or increased chatters or the fact weve been attacked before and the fact that theres isis or are there specific threats on increased chatter that gives us a basis for being more alarmed tonight. Its all of the above. Having isis calling on their people to attack in the United States and canada. There is chatter among the terrorist groups about attacking the United States, attacking the infidels, thats there and we know isis has a commitment to attack the United States especially since we began the war against them back in september and they want to strike back and they want to show that they still have a lot of fire power in them and that were not going to be safe anywhere, part of is to break our will and morale so we will back off from them. Its a combination of all of the above. Congressman thank you very much for joining us, sir. Thank you. And on the record is investigating lone wolf terrorist. The man accused of executing a new Jersey College student in the name of jihad. We will talk to the family members. These statements say he executed two men while inthe vehicle. He is a terrorist and for whatever reason he was going to kill amad that night. I dont know if it was because he had a muslim name and he was gay, i dont know. And dwon was a bonus kill. Duane in tomorrow night for greta investigates, the lone

This incredibly new information, very disturbing about the three denver girls in route to syria to join isis, the
teens tweeting as they sent off on this journey, one girl wrote, please, please, please make prayer for me wherever you are, i truly needed. This is incredible these tweets, tell me more about them. We had to dig pretty far into the internet in order to find them. We had one of our social media expert find some cache pages. The twitter accounts were delighted and the twitter account associated with one of the girls fathers was also delate. The tweets asking for prayer before they left we found. And we also found these tweets branched out further. There was a lot of interaction all over the world with what
thee these three girls are saying. Were you able to hear how they became radicalizedradicali . How or why they got radicalized . I dont think so. We looked at several dozen tweets from all three girls, they were speaking about islam but nothing unusual out of the ordinary for someone of their age. Where did they get money to buy these Airline Ticket sticke . 2,000 was taken from the parents of one the girls. We dont mow if it was to buy the plane tickets. Th any class mates say this was predictable with any of these
three. Almost on the contrary. The people we spoke with said they were normal and seemed like nice people. They were normal denver nab neighborhoods. But they knew each other from class, right . Theyre class mates. They did go to the same school, yes. So not like they know each other through a mosque or ski club or anything . No nothing that we found. They lived in the same area in arapapo county we dont know too much beyond that. Thank you. Straight ahead would you pay for rabbit massages, gabbing monkeys, thats next. stone not to be amused by gambling monkeys. They created this game but i wont be truly impressed until the researchers get them to go down and buy lotto tickets and play all night poker games. Were talking about billions of dollars in this report. That could change the lives of an entire state. Hi wh think of what it could do for education. Its astounding. Now its election season but no one really runs on this. Right. These examples are so stark and so many are so ridiculous it is one of the most powerful vehicles for the act antigovernment message annually. We could be working on an ebola cure instead we are spending money on monkeys. The congress is off for two
months campaigning, were paying their salary soz thies so they y for a job. Its like paying me to go to cnn, if fox would pay me to go apply for someone else. Im not going to disagree. I just do want to say in defense of some of this, we are seeing one perspective on this, a lot of these were chosen because they are funny and news catchy funny . None of this is funny. It is a fundamental truth about government which is burrecracy kra burrecracy krats will never spend your money add prudent as you will. I dont think they are funny. If im laughing it is out of horror. Because theres a lot of people
struggling to put their kids through college 25 billion is disgraceful. Even 10,000. We dont hear about. Ware of were hearing about it now. Sq you could pick a single Government Agency and find millions of examples of this happening right now. Sq we had scc porn on their hard drive. It never goes away. It doesnt matter how ridiculous it is. Whether you think it is funny or not, it just stays on the books. I dont laugh because it is funny. I laugh because first it was senator fox more now it is colburn. Panel, thank you. Do you remember a time democrat lost the womens vote. Cant remember a single election that happens. Next report says democrats are losing women fast. Good evening lauren. Whats this the democrats are losing the women . Zbl they are. Only in a few key states. States like colorado, kentucky and arkansas. Margins are razor thin. Why are women short of shifting to the republican side away from democrats if thats whats happening. There are a few factors at play. One of them is the fact women tend to vote for National Security issues when National Security is in the news so the fact the Islamic State group is in the news means women are starting to feel less secure and when women feel less secure
republicans tend to do very well. In states like colorado mark has been running on a war narrative we saw in 2012 but corey came out and said im for over the counter Birth Control and narrows hisle listeners. When you see some war on women or women cant get education or cant show their ankles in some countries it certainly pales in comparison. Women are looking for new election like every other voter is. Certainly National Security is playing and in a state like colorado people might not want
to hear about that more than they want to hear about an issue like Birth Control. Lauren thank you. Thank you. Lets go off the record for a minute. I was on twitter and saw this pick tweeted by mark miller of cbs news. Check out the new barricade in front of the white house it was put up last month after an intruder jumped the fence past the secret service into the the white house, a huge security breach. This says a lot about secret service, rather than clean up their act, they punish the American People with a fence pushing them back ten feet. That is so messed up. It gets worse. That fence doesnt even work. Just last night another jumper but who saved the day . The dogs, hurricane and jordan,

Your doctor should perform blood tests before you start and while taking xeljanz and routinely check certain liver tests. Breaking now, the suspect in the kidnapping of u. Va student Hannah Graham, my still be on the move to Fairfax County in Northern Virginia to face
charges in another violent crime. Greg joins us now. Tell me why is he being monved now . There was a bench warrant to bring him up here. He was indicted on capital murder 2005 Sexual Assault zb. S did they have no idea before . Why now . Did the woman not press charges . Theyve been searching in Fairfax County for nine years. What they had in fairfax if you connect the dots is they had a sketch of the suspect but didnt know who the suspect was. And four years ago in 2010 from therew there was a link between this victim and the Morgan Harris case, they said forensic
evidence linked between those two cases and recently with Hannah Graham they said there is a forensic link there as well, so between all three cases. Did he have a job in Northern Virginia. Its a couple hour drive from charlottesville area. Right we dont really know what zakexactly he was doing in Northern Virginia but of course it is close to washington, d. C. Area. To travel there you generally go right through Fairfax County. Was this rape where she was out jogging or Something Like that. Are there other rapes they are tracking down in that area . They are looking at several other open cases and possibly some closed one. This was a 26yearold woman who was coming back from the food store, she was pulled aside and
dragged to a dark area and sexually assaulted. The original reported said she was pretty badly beaten hence the attempted capital murder charge. I hope they findly got the person who did that to her. Possible case of ebola in new york city. A doctor is being treated at a manhattan hospital. He was working in guinea, after
returning to new york he had high symptoms and fever we are awaiting his test results. Another confirmed case, a twoyearo twoyearold. Now Amber Vincent is ebolafree and nina pham is in Good Condition tonight. Dr. Kent brantly is here nice to see you. How do you feel. I feel great, greta, i feel great. Perfect, completely back to normal. I need to exercise more but im pretty good. How do you get ebola. Is it working with ebolainfected patients. I am convinced i didnt get it in the isolation treatment, i
was also evaluating patients in the emergency room and i had a lot of contact with patients without all the protective gear who later were confirmed to have ebola. So im confident that i got it from a patient in the emergency room. They said you were the most meticulous about it. They were stunned, if dr. Brantly could get ebola how incredibly contagious this is. I was surprised that i had contracted it also but again, i felt confident and still do feel confident that our procedures, in that Isolation Unit following protocols we were safe in that unit and i will continue to say i contracted ebola outside that Isolation Unit. Would you go back . I would and i hope to go back
some day with my family. Theres news a doctor is in isolation tonight. Youve given blood to the camera man in nebraska and the nurse in texas. Have you been contacted to give blood to this doctor . I have not. We have to find out if he has ebola or Something Else like malaria. Indeed it could possibly be malaria. Whats it like to be in isolation . Its lonely. It gives you a lot of time to sit and think. I stepped off my room one day, it was 14 by 14 feet and i was there for three weeks. It is also mentally trying. Because, you have no contact with another human being. Were you ambulatory the whole time . I was not. After a few days of my illness i could not walk beyond my bedroom door and later on when i got
sicker i was bedbound for a couple days. I got a phone call from Franklin Graham giving the details of how dreadfully sick you were and then got a remarkable phone call after you got the experiment drug zmap that you were all of a sudden better. I did have a very dramatic response to the zmap. My condition stabilized. I was on the verge of death. My condition stabilized. And my condition approved for 36 to 48 hours and was able to walk around. Now the news in africa it is getting worse. It is just so sad what is going on there. It is. Heart breaking. What can we do . You know, the Us Government has made great commitments with boots on the ground there. Theres lots of other
nongovernmental organizations working hard on the ground but the International Community has to come through. The commitment that was made by the United States government we havent seen them all come to fruition. The air bridge we need the military to provide that transportation support for volunteers and equipment. Squl indeed. It is a horrible crisis there. Dr. Brantly thanks for joining us.
