They chose to do nothing about it. For them to complain about the process, the allegations against judge kavanaugh are collapsing. This has been the worst low point in the senate for me and that is saying a lot. Lawmakers are due to hear from accuser Christine Ford who alleges judge kavanaugh sexually assaulted her back in high school in a senior democrat says this has been rough on her too. She is exposing herself to ridicule, harassment, attack even by the president of the United States in his tweets. Her family is in danger and theyve had to move out of their homes, their computers have been hacked. She has had to engage attorneys and get into lengthy negotiations with republicans in the senate. Harris the whole process is discouraging for women. Melissa there was a discouragement to come forward, but now we are at a point where it seems like people feel comfortable Going Forward and didnt we kind of see this coming when people started saying you have to believe the women no matter what . A red light went off and a lot of peoples minds where you said wait a second, it doesnt make sense to believe any group of people no matter what they say. Based on the group that they are. Are. Maybe listen to them and you go look into it and you show them respect, but you dont automatically decide i think she has been listen to and she has been shown respect and shes been invited to come and tell her story. Would have Congressional Republicans called him up and try to impeach him . Again, going back to the speed investigation, Robert Mueller is putting his head down to getting his job done, you dont see any leaks from his team, you dont see any public statements from him because he is trying to get to the bottom of whether or not there was collusion with russia by the truck campaign. That is where the focus is. To try to get rid of rosenstein and to try to politicize this further in any way it is only to detract from this. Its about the fact that there were six people in a room according to these memos sitting there and discussing potentially wiretapping the president , how to get rid of him, went to get to the bottom of what was actually said in that room and what is going on . I think the president should allow members of congress to handle this. From what i understand of how the process would work, firing or having rosenstein offering up his resignation at this point, it wouldnt necessarily mean that anything would wrap up in terms of the speed investigation before the midterm election. So now you have this great distraction going on which doesnt have to happen before the midterm elections. The question is, does the president deserve to have people and im talking specifically about Jeff Sessions now to have people of the Justice Department who he feels are furthering his policies and agendas.
