Prosecutors say the former new England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez gunned down a friend of his last month. He has already pleaded not guilty. And belichick talked about the moment he first heard about it all. I and other members of the organization were shocked and disappointed in what we had learned. Well, the second grand jury, shep, was actually impaneled because while they were investigated those two murders from last july, police found that it was someone driving an suv that pulled up next to the victims car and opened fire. And now they say the suv was rented in Aaron Hernandez name and was later found at the connecticut home of hernandez uncle. Prosecutors, in fact, believe hernandez shot and killed oden lloyd last month because lloyd, they think, had information about that double murder and had threatened possibly to talk. Shep . So, explain what came out of todays hearing, trace. Well, the prosecutors asked for a delay because they are still waiting for the first grand jury to decide whether or not to indictment Aaron Hernandez. That could take several more weeks. And, the grand jury has now heard from at least two dozen witnesses and many more could be on the list. The prosecutors also say they have more ballistic evidence linking hernandez to the crime, but the defense says the prosecution only wants a delay so they can buy more time. Listen. The First Assistant claimed the commonwealth had a compelling Case Complete with videotapes. They even presented a dramatic reenactment of the decedents death. He made it sound like a slam dunk case. Now, four weeks later, your honor. The First Assistant says the commonwealth is not even ready to show this court that it can meet the probable cause standard to hold mr. Hernandez. The federal judge handling detroits bankruptcy case says anybody had that has problems with it will have to go through him. The judge ordering a stop to lawsuits that challenge the filing in other courts. It comes after a michigan county judge last week ruled that the bankruptcy case violates the states constitution. This is just the first in what promises to be a long and painful court process. Its the largest city bankruptcy filing in american history.
