Wallace confronted Hillary Clinton saying that the fbi director said she had not been truthful with the american people. No surprise, clinton had a different view. The director comey said my answers were truthful and what i said is consistent with what i have told the american people. That there were decisions disdiscussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails. Reporter that answer earned Hillary Clinton four pinocchios from the Washington Post fact checker. At the post onotes the director said some emails were already classified and should not have been sent on an unclassified private server. Later clinton blamed her former colleagues at the state department. I relied on and had every reason to rely on the judgments of the professionals with whom i worked. How in the world can this be a press saying that is showing any modicum of fairness . Its been pretty proven over and over again that the press is not exactly in Donald Trumps camp, and for the most part, extends to lean very far to the left tends to lean very far to the left, but goes to far, it colors what theyre doing daily. Absolutely is. You had a bona fide interview with aona fide journalist in chris wall los angeles asking wallace, discussion a very serious question, which everyone in the press should be asking. Is pat smith lying when she says that Hillary Clinton said this, only fox seems to be interested in asking the question, and the answer i thought she gave was so twisted, so contorted, and so deflective basically she saidey. You would think every report were be asking that question. I think when it all gets boiled down she basically said, yeah, a lot of things were happening and i understand emotionally how member might not be able to remember everything. Zika fears growing as the number of cases in florida keep growing. Well be talking to the director of the cdc, dr. Freed dan next. Lets go to director of the cdc, tom friedan. Why did you issue the warning. We have been looking at the situation closely every day, and what we found over they ever weekend there were both more mosquitoes than we hoped and more cases than we had previously known about. Therefore theres a specific onemile radius area around the 150meter area where we are advising pregnant women not to travel and if they live or work in that area to do everything theyve can to protect themselves against mosquito bites. Why just this one square mile area in miami, florida . This particular mosquito spreads zika in a very particular way. It only happens when the mosquito bites someone who has zika, and then about a week later, the mosquito can spread zika if it bites someone else. It doesnt get into the mosquito population. Its not in nature in the environment as, for example, the west nile virus is. So its a different entity. Back to the one square mile. Is it because the mosquitoes dont fly more than that given area . Exactly. Mosquitoes only fly about 500 feet maximum in their entire life. So, theres actually a small area within that onemile block where we have seen all of the cases, but florida and we with our Emergency Response team will be looking to see if there are additional cases. But its very important for any pregnant woman, anywhere in the southern uh, where there are this type of mosquito present to use mosquito repellent and protect he was from mosquito bolts. Let me ask you about someone who may have been in florida, traveling in anymore and is no now in northeast. Do they also need to be careful . Is there any concern, doctor, you could have someone that could get bitten by another mosquito up here that may be carrying the virus, and then thus that mosquito could transfer it into a different Population Center . Well, the real priority here is to protect pregnant women. So if a pregnant woman was in this area, we advise her to see her obstetrician and we be tested. We have had thousands of people come back to the u. S. Where parts of the world where zika is spreading and we have seen very few locally spread zika cases. Three different incidents in miami, two which did not result in ongoing spread, and this one in this one actually 500foot square area where we have seen now 12 cases of zika infection. Any sense when you might have a vaccine . Vaccine will take time, at least a year or two but we have ways to control mosquitoes and we need to work on that.
